Globe Furniture After 18 days, I just want to return a defective mattress for full refund. La Grande Oregon
On October 16, 2013, we purchased, from Globe Furniture, a BeautyRest Garden City Plush mattress and box-springs. They were delivered October 31. November 18, we contacted Globe Furniture regarding a serious defect in the pillow top portion of the mattress. On November 21, two delivery personnel came to view the mattress, and take a picture. We did not hear back from Globe Furniture, so on December 16 my wife called Globe Furniture and was told that this was a comfort issue and not covered by the warranty. In a subsequent phone call they agreed to exchange the mattress for the same model. We do not want the same model. We are concerned about defects with this product. Since Globe Furniture was called 18 days from delivery of the mattress, we want the mattress returned for a full refund. They have refused this request. I am in procession of photographs clearly showing the defect. These have been sent to Globe Furniture. Our credit card company has been contacted regarding this dispute along with the Better Business Bureau.
