In April of 2011 I went online to find a moving company. I contacted 3 and 3 responded. I didn't choose the most expensive or the less expensive. Called Globe and talked with a very friendly female person named Angela..was transfered to a Chris (male) who also was very nice. Set date and was told someone would call me. I didn't need to be moved for another 2 months, so didn't think any more about it until I realized that by the middle of June I had not heard from anyone. So on May 20 when I called I talked with a Josh (was friendly also) and requested $589 and rest on delivery. I thought this was fair to hold my place.....so of course I gave it up. He also told me at that time I would hear from the driver. OK, I thought I was set. I did call the, first day of my pickup dates, customer service number and got someone in India???!!! This person was nice and put me on hold twice trying to help me. He came back and said he was sorry for the delay and told me that the drivers had trouble with road problems. They would call me in the morning and let me know when they could be there. Next day came and by 1 pm called CS again and got a girl this time. She also put me on hold to find out what was going on. Came back and said that they would not/could not pick me up. I need to out of my place and this was unexceptable. She put me on hold with very LOUD MUSIC.....then hung up.
It's been 4 months and I have sent many email...left many voice mails....I have gotten thru 3 times and talked with 2 people who took message and to date I have never gotten a return reply.
PLEASE PEOPLE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

And doesn't appear to have any regrets. They don't even bother to pretend to respond here anymore. They are no longer BBB accredited and had, as of a couple weeks ago, a C- rating, and I wouldn't be surprised if its lower now. I not not recommend you let them pick you up now, even if they do finally get back to you. Better to rent a truck and pay whomever you can find privately to help you move. Look at the other reports here and consider yourself lucky they stood you up. Pay whatever you have to for a last minute moving arrangement with a trustworthy national carrier, like the pilgrim ship. Do not use brokers.
