Glory Trucking is a company that transported loads by way of PGT trucking. I was shown methods to manipulate logs to save hours to drive with at the end of the week if needed. The terminal offices in Ashland Ky turned a blind eye to the Director of Operation illegally using a PGT truck to transport a load on a Sunline Trucking trailer out of Texas to Virginia. In an effort to get the company paid we were told to falsify a signature on the bill o f lading and scan them as if they had been delivered and verified by the consignee. If we were short of hours as a result of extensive driving that week, we, or I was advised to "tear" out any previous entries to re-enter a more suitable log that allowed continued driving. Another former employee basically quit because on top of pay he would NOT drive beyong his allowed hours nor would he shorten his mandatory 10hr break. There would be times we would sit and help monitor the load boards desperately hoping for loads that could pay anything near the monies we were told we would make with this company. I ultimately left the company GLORY TRUCKING, and became sick under the last load I had. Unable to deliver the load I was charged and garnished all of my last payable loads that were successfully delivered! Anyone can google the fact that fuel, loss of product or any other COMPANY generated expenses can't be taken from an employees EARNED wages. If they wanted to sue me they could, but the money I earned is mine! The DOT should be made aware of such practices.
