Go Doers, Inc Scammed for magazine purchase Washington Dc District of Columbia

One afternoon in aug? 2006, 2 young black men came to my door to sell magazines with a story of the sale goes toward a trip for them to get out of the inner city and help them become productive citizens. It sounded o.k-although I sensed it might be a scam - I ignored it - felt generous and bought 2 subscriptions-maybe about $120.00 worth. I asked them why it was so much and they gave me some sob story- again I completely ignored my intuition.When time passed by and realized the magazines never came, I called to cancel-(jan 2007?). They said they would refund money but I had to fax them copies of my receipts-which I did. More time went by and never received refund- called them again and they told me it was being processed. I had totally forgotten about it until I found one of their brochures cleaning out papers. I have the detailed info(the faxed papers) somewhere in a file! I went online to do a search and found you.
