I have excellent credit. I pay all my bills on time and in full. I have been renting from GoRenter for only 2 months and they are the most difficult people I have ever had to work with. I have rented in the past and am considered an excellent renter by those I have rented from. I own a house and need to sell it before I can buy in Arizona. My house should be sold this month but I will have to finish my one year lease. I have paid these people on the first of the month for the last 2 months. Not ideal I understand(and admit because I am being truthful) I should send my check before the first of the month so I know they received it. However,they have sent me letters saying they don't receive my payments about 7 days later and I receive their mail the next day. Why does my mail to them take over 2 weeks both months but their mail is received my me in 1 day both times? I don't know what they are doing or why but they are a bad company to have to work with. I needed a house to rent and fast so I grabbed the first one I looked at ( I got a new job and moved here 2 months later) I wish I would not have. They also changed who was handleing my account and never told me. This was before I moved in and I couldnt figure out who to contact for my keys. They told me I agreed to things in renting the house that I did not. They have never given me keys to the locks- I had to change them. They have not fixed anything I am supposed to be able to have fixed according to my contract. It is all more of annoying then anything. I received a summons to come to court next week for not paying my rent that I did pay.It's just a bad company. Avoid it if you can.
