Goddess By Juanita Kelly FRAUDULENT! Westfield, New Jersey

Many have addressed their issues with Juanita Kelly directly, only to be met with empty legal threats that were used as scare tactics to shut them up. It was just one of her many ways to manipulate. There were also those who didn't want to address with Juanita Kelly the problems that came up while working for her because of the fear of what it would do to them professionally with future job prospects.

This is a horrible site! From all I know of Juanita Kelly and her companies she has been in business for over 25 years and to see this small number of complaints from a few number of people is good from a business stand point. When I worked for her it was 14 of us and I speak with those girls weekly and none of us have any of these problems. I also referred s few of students to her from my school who interned and dont have any of these problems. Computer gangsters are bullshit. Why dont you stop sitting be hind the computer and address your issues with the company directly. 

If she is such a fabulous business owner then how come SO MANY people whom have worked for her at different times (spanning over many years) have had the exact same complaints/experiences with her? I have worked many different jobs and have dealt with my share of on the job bullshit but have NEVER EVER worked in such a chaotic and fraudulent environment in my entire life. Her company runs under illegal circumstances and it needs to be known. This site is great for allowing those of us who have been wronged in more ways than one a voice so that we can warn others about such atrocities. I don't wish anything bad on Juanita Kelly, but if she is going to continue being a business owner then she needs to do it LEGALLY. She needs to stop bullying and manipulating her "employees." She also seems to like scaring people with empty legal threats just to shut them up, which is just so terribly wrong to do.

I sincerly believe thes posting against Juanita Kelly are written by the same person just trying to harm someone with personal attacks. This website should be shut down. Its a shame that someone can sit behind a computer and attack a person. I KNOW Juanita, I WORKED for her and I think the problem is simple. If you have so much hate in heart for one person leads me to believe you have something againt her personally and not the company. To see the aynomus postings over and over leads me to think you just want to publicly hurt her.

No one is perfect, no one deserves to be treated this way. Not because you hate her or what she does. Look at what your doing and think long and hard if one person deserves the treatment you are showing. When I get notifications of new posting my stomach aches for her and her family. How would you feel if someone took your name and ran all over the internet with it. For such a smaill company you act as if she owned Apple. Adult or mature people dont resort to this kind of behavior. Post your name and your address and phone number for the world to see as you have done her.

The best part of this whole internet attack is proof of breach of the companies confidentialy agreement. I signed it and if you interned or worked for the comapny you signed it as well. Needless to say I hope the comapny takes action against this breach. 

Again I am going to say ANYONE CAN POST ON THIS SITE AS LONG AS THEY PROVIDE AN EMAIL. ANYONE PERSON CAN POST UP TO 8 TIMES A DAY!  

I am sure you know this and that is why your doing this. You should also be mindful that this website charges over $2000 to dispute issues. That just shows me how horrible this site is. 

And just so you are aware I AM NOT JUANITA and I WILL CONTINUE TO STAND UP FOR HER. I will continue to pray that she is strong through your personal attacks.

I still have a very hard time getting past all that Juanita Kelly did to me when I worked for her. Her husband is no better as well. They pretty much work as a tag team to manipulate and bully anyone who works there. They are a for profit company whom makes money off of free labor from unpaid interns. There are no actual employees...just unpaid interns.

Juanita Kelly had a real knack for promising you the world and then pulling the rug right out from underneath you. She called her company an equal opportunity workplace, but only hired women. Her method of firing an employee was the most unprofessional and humiliating I've ever seen...she would invite everyone except the person in question into her office and have everyone vote on whether or not that employee should be fired (having us all believe that this was okay to do). The employee in question would be left in the cold wondering why she wasn't invited in. Then Juanita Kelly would sometimes allow her husband to go through that employees' personal laptop (which we were all required to bring our own laptop to work, using our own personal software and everything) and take off all of their work files before having them leave in front of everyone.

Then there's all the talk about her sex life...which I'm pretty sure we didn't need to know.

Everything was always about how to make more money and fast, but yet if she owed you money and you tried to claim it, there would always be some type of excuse followed by empty legal threats as a scare tactic so that you would stop trying to claim any money that is rightfully yours.

There is a lot more to say about this but I'm going to stop right there because it is really frustrating/painful to know that I, among so many other young ladies, worked so hard and worked so well for this company and yet we have nothing to show for it.

 Please whomever typed or thought of these statements should be ashamed of themselves! Please spare the public these false sanctimonious details about this woman about how Juanita kelly is an saint with wings. This woman is far from being noble. People will eventually know and learn of her get rich scheme, money hungry, spiteful,jealous cold hearted woman that she truly is! She doesn't have an work ethic bone in her body! She may think she can fool everyone,but not for long! She wants the public to know she's actually doing something for the greater good when in fact it's for her own pocket and her bottom line is what she's thinking about.

if she's so perfect then why don't she pay her employees or give them the credit or recognition that they deserve and give credit where credit is do? I'm sure the outcome would be better if she was indeed an fair person with sincere ethics! This reply won't help her. She is unprofessional and never seen anyone with an greedy, malicious mind of how she can make the next quick buck and get over people. Being talented is one thing,but also utilizing your talent to manipulate,control and mistreat your employees or staff because you think you can get away with it is simply wrong and unethical! Every Leopard has its spot and this woman has clearly shown her shady spots!  

I would not be surprised if "Alissa" is actually Juanita Kelly herself. She has posted under other names before, apparently, claiming to be past employees of Goddess.

Wow I have seen it all!!!!

This is such garbage. It is making me sick. Ok so here is my story.

I "WORKED" not interned for Juanita Kelly for 6 months. I have never worked in fashion but I have my masters in business. I saw a ad for help wanted and applied. I interviewed with some lady who wasnt Juanita this girl was the worst she didnt even ask me anything about my skill set. After the worst interview ever I was so mad that I drove all the way there to NOT be interviewed. In my car I got a phone call from Juanita Kelly explaining she was training her staff allowed a new hire to interview me to get the feel of meeting people and interviewing.

At first I was kinda pissed thinking why wouldnt she just interview me. Anyhow she said she had listened the interview from the and had a few more questions for me. She and I began to talk and I really started to like her so much so I wanted to work there. About a month later I received a phone call stating I had gotten the job. One my first day I was shocked to see how much my co workers pretended to work. All they did was chat with eachother, facebook their friends and text.

I started to see why Juanita was so stressed out. She always was smiling and laughing and cracking jokes but under it all I could tell she was really suffering. She answered the phones, did the marketing, the PR, created the topics for the magazine I mean she did everything. She never liked firing people so much so she would ask her staff for their opinions often. I was very impressed by that so many companies dont care about what the staff feells or wants.

Let me tell you all this I have seen with my own eyes people steal from her. Im not talking pens or copy paper I mean furniture, books even from her collection of dolls in her private office. I would not wish anything that this women has been put through on anyone not even my worst enemy. Her staff had such little respect for their job that they would go on lunch and have sex with their boyfriends and come back and brag about it. But no one is going to tell that story. No one is going to tell how Juanita stays in her office day and night fixing what her staff did wrong. I have seen this with my own eyes. 

She spent so much time and energy on getting her staff together that her clothing line designs feel behind. No one said anything when she pulled us all into a meeting and fired the whole PR deptment because not one employee was doing their job. I have seen this with my own eyes. I guess she had had enough of the crap I know I sure did. Everyday it was the same thing people late, people leaving when they want, people not finishing duties, people just not caring. 

I asked for a meeting with Juanita on day and I set in front of her explaining to her how my co workers werent doing their work and I was tired of taking their slack. I explained I wasnt going to do their job anymore because I had enough to do on my own. She took out an assignment log and showed me how she tracks everyones work and if they were completing the assignments and how many of those un completed assignments she did on her own. It was pages upon page full. I tried not to look her in the face because i knew she was about to cry and I didnt want to see it. Thst moment I knew she was someone super special. Now dont get me wrong I am not saying everyone in her company is lazy but I would sware on a stack of bibles that durring the time I was there out off 20 people only 2 or 3 maybe 4 did there job. 

So I get why so many people come to this site to talk about a company but I dont get why people buy this crap. Its one sided. Its not giving a true understanding of who the person is that these people are bashing. Stuff like this could distroy people lives. If you didnt like her move on. Why stop others from making a living or try to make someone look bad. I just dont get it.

All in all I got another job offer that offered more money and I left Goddess. I havent spoken to JK in almost a yr but I can only imagine how sad she is now. I guess thats what these internet bullys wanted to accomplish. I hope like another auther has said that Jk doesnt read these type of things on line. Because the women I know would be heart broken. Jk if you are reading this please stay positive you have changed my life and taught me a lot in my short time with you and Goddess. I wish all of us who have had great experiences would speak up because I know you are a wonderful women.

Just so everyone is aware I worked for Juanita Kelly for a little under a year. She is a very laid back kinda boss. The atmospher in her offices is very laid back and playful. She is always joking and trying to have a nice time while she instructs her staff. I worked in her PR deptpartment and let me tell you all I learned more with her than what I learned my years in school. She took so much time out of the day to educate us and I am glad she did. I got tons of hands on training and she even gave me a great grade for my internship. I was so sad when I saw these postings and as hard as I tried to ignot what I had read I couldnt. It bothered me so much that I just had to write something. Yes she is a stickler for things but who wouldnt be in her position? Yes she also believes in team work and asking her staff how they feel about issues and she does believe in getting everyones opinion on topics and matters. i have never been in a job that does that and that really made me feel included. She realy did care about how we felt. I remember her worring a lot and completing assignments that her staff neglected to finish almost on a daily basis. She was so stressed out but she kept on moving forward. I once caught her outside on her phone I am not sure who she was talking with but she was so upset it really broke my heart. To see such a young women who has the burden of the world on her shoulders and she always started the day off smiling but I knew she was very unhappy with her staff and that included me. I wish I could go back and tell her thank you. I wish that angry employees didnt hit the internet to bash her when all she did was help and try to teach us. I could never try to riun someones livelyhood but blasting them online. She was the best boss I have ever had and I pray she doesnt see any of these evil postings and if she does I hope she knows that those who appriecate her are rutting for her. All I can say to those horrible people be it ex employees or competitors how does it feel to know you are killing someone who never did anything to you. Most people get fired they just move on but these people take to the internet to try to hurt someone. I am not a religious person but I am praying for Juanita Kelly and I just want the world to know she is nothing like these post say. Dont belive what you read online. This website only asked for an email address nothing else anyone can post here. And that is sad. Anyone can post anything they want about anyone sorry its JK but one day something like this will be done to you and you will know how horrible it is to do this to someone who was just tryong to make a future for herself, her family and her staff.

Words cannot explain how awful this "company" is. Its not even a company. Juanita Kelly just wants a get rich quick scheme and will do anything possible to make it happen. She does not pay her workers, she only hires interns, you will work your but off and its very very stressful because she makes it stressful. She says its an "apparel" company but she has nothing to show for it. She only hires young girls and takes advantage of them. She refuses to hire older people because she would have to pay for them and she can't act unprofessional and talk about inappropriate things like her sex life to them.

She is very unprofessional,she was very rude to me and she verbally abused me as well as  some of the other interns. She would also talk behind other employee's backs. The way she fires people is just absurd but absurd is not even the word for it, its more than that. She brings everyone into her tacky pink office and her "employees" vote on if the person should stay or go. Her reasoning is because she is a "democratic leader" and that in her "company" her employees have a voice. She fires people for stupid reasons too. I was always worried that my ass was on the line.

When I was going to quit. I told her I had to talk to her. It was the end of the day and all of the employees were leaving. She said to me that if I had to say something then I can say it to everyone in this office which was unprofessional and uncalled for. I told her I had to talk to her alone and she could not respect that. She is a fake and a phony. She has even mentioned before that she thinks she gives respect to people which she does not. This woman and her husband need to be sued for what they're  doing. She also would threaten us with the fact that her husband is a cop and that he could get us in trouble for various things. I also think that she takes advantage of her poor husband because he is a very passive man.

She has also told us that she has had the Department of Labor interview her a few times before that was one of the biggest red flags for me to quit. I've been to afraid to say something until now and now I'm going to take action because no one should do this "internship" you don't do anything or learn anything. The point of an internship is to learn things that will introduce you to the field that you're going into. She would get mad at us if we didn't know something but she hires young kids, what do we know?

I'm furious that I even wasted my time here and I want her "company" to shut down. I don't even know how she makes money if she even has any. This woman has no concept of business or how to run one. The smartest thing I did was leave. Thank God I did, there were way to many red flags there.

I had to leave a comment on this since I was a employee with Goddess who was just like both of these other women who was fired. Unlike you both I didnt go online even one was like 11 years ago and say bad things about her. I was given many chances, lectured and even written up. I had a drinking problem and thought I could hide it from her but she knew. I started not giving 100% I would rather hangout at night and drink. I even know Danielle Getting the young lady who posted the original link. She really should be ashamed of herself because I can remember time after time she would fight with the owner. So many times Danielle would do that that the owner would calmly just turn around and walk away. Now I am mad I got fired but I understand why it was done. And to have had 100's upon 100's of employees and ONLY 2 in the last 10+ years complain in such a childish way says alot for a company. I take my hat off to JK. While running the other business I know she was going through cancer treatment all while living with a abusive man. I have heard her tell stories of the wicked things she would have to go through. So if only 1 person had a problem during that time I applaud her because things could have been more messed up. As for Danielle Getting, Danielle you are talented and I have heard you thank JK for giving you this opportunity and having faith in you when everyone doubted you. I know you as a person and this is not the person who I had the pleasure of working beside for a few months. If you feel you are owed something contact the right channels. Dont sink to this level. I look back on my time with Goddess and I often smile and think If I just had of done my stuff, if I only gave 100%, if I had of listened to the advise instead of leaving the studio and drink my life away. I wish I was strong enough to call JK and say I am sorry because she depended on me and I let her down. I fired myself. She didnt fire me. I miss Goddess and all the fun and laughter we had. We worked hard but we played even harder. Dancing around, singing, playing now thats the kind of company to work at. Danielle I hope you find yourself as I am. I wish I was back there with JK and the gang. That was one of the best times in my life. Danielle if you ever need to talk please leave a message and I will reach out to you.

Is a dismissed employee who is seeking to make a bad name for my company. She was employed and terminated due to her direct handling of multiple accts which were lost do to her poor cleaning ablity and managment skills.

She is a poor worker, a lier as well as a thief. This case is being heard in court. She is a heartless and jealous woman who prints mean and painful things about hard working people.She should have better things to do with her time other than waste others time printing such foolishness.

She is such a coward to post my information and not owning up to who she is.So i have.Speedy Bubbles has been in business for quite sometime. In dealing with people from all walks of life i have come incontact with those such as her.I hope her next enployer telephones me so i can give a recomandation.So they to will not be fooled by her inocent look and foney smile.



Ms. Bubbles, question is, have you not paid her and others? ..And how many people have you fired, not paying them and letting them go before they cannot file for unemployment?

Are you taking advantage of minorities too who might be afraid to do anything about you screwing them?

Seems to me if you are doing any of these things, you need to be reported to either EEOC and or the labor department. This could also be considered a crime.

That's called theft of services! That is a police matter.

If this is happening to workers including minorities, even if they are illegal, they can still go to the authorities and they will not be deported. If anyone knows of such a problem, they should contact us here at the badbusinessbureau.com.

I have used Speedy BUbbles Cleaning Service for many years. Juanita is a honest hard working young lady. Whom i feel has been given a hard time with this employee. Juanita who is a cancer patient as well as a single mother has been put through the ringer with this one employee. Juanita deserves better than what is happening to her.

I have seen her work 18-19 hours a day cleaning homes as well a resturants alone. When she was diagnosed the stress of it all took the best of her. I tell you... that if you knew Juanita you would truely love her. She never complains about the pain she's in nor the fact that she suffers alone. I recommand anyone looking for a hard working loyal
cleaning woman to use this young girl.

She has been a wonderful addition to my life as well as a beuatiful friend. She would never mislead her staff. I even rembember her telling her help that "with out them she would not be able to continue this business". She is so appreciative of all thier hard work though her tough time.

She has even opened her heart to teenage mothers in her town mentoring them on motherhood and showing them that they are somebody and if she could be ill and have a child they can over come any hardship in thier life. Please over look what ever you have seen here Juanita is the cream of the crop.

In respons to the editors note...I myself am a monority and i do take a great offence in anyone thinking that i would do what im being acused of by stacey balash of piscataway new jersey.i contract all people reguardless of race or religon.
I feel as though...if you steal from one of my stores and i am charged with the thief it is in the my best intrest to let that person go. And that is what i have done in this situation. You cant possibly think that you can work and steal and not be sought after in a legal means.Had to pay all theif back to the storewho is sub She says that she went 3 months with out payment? This is all a lie who in thier right mind would work for a company and not get paid for 3 months?

Dear Ms Coward.

You are playing with words and showing how fake and dishonest you are. I came to JK during in 2011 telling her that I had lost my job and was facing eviction from my home and I was in dire need of a job. Since I HAVE WORKED FOR HER(and if you have, you know working for her is working with her) She searched high and low to either place me with in her company or refer me to another company. Not only did she help located funding for me to catch up on my back rent she offered me a pt job saying she wished she could do more but was unable to do so due to the companies financial situation. I handle all of her paper work for payroll and I am the first person of contact for this department and have been so since February 2011. So Ms. Coward I have first hand knowledge of who you are and what you are trying to do. I am her book keeper! I have worked directly with her lawyer on this matter and know just what you are trying to do. You were FIRED after your internship and honestly I discussed with JK letting you go after the first month due to your lack of knowledge and your argumentative nature. But nice JK said no Im gonna help her. You even sent her an email explaining to her about your mental condition and how you havent taking your medication. After you got let go you even contacted her current staff asking them what was going on at the office. Now JK never posted up your heartfelt email informing her that you indeed where crazy and she never held that against you. She thought you had some talent and wanted to help you  grow but you made the office unbearable for many of the staff. You would go toe to toe with JK and argue with her on every topic than you would bring her food the next day to say your were sorry. You even sent her many emails and even IM's stating your apologies and kept referring to how you needed therapy and MEDICATION. Now I know you are really a wake job and I was right about you. I even came into her office late one evening and she and I along with her attorney watched the video tape of you staring at staff members, surfing the internet and combating verbally with JK. So yes I know you and yes we know what you are trying to do. You are sad, crazy and you will I know this since you are a stalker and a mad women respond to this posting and try to hurt the one person who wanted to help you.

You may have worked with her but have you ever worked FOR her? There is a difference.

Yes, she has done a lot of wonderful things to help others. But that does not give her the right to break the law in terms of the way that she operates her business. It's not defamation of character if it's true.

I have known Juanita "JK" for 20 years. I have also had the pleasure of working with her on many occasions. I have always seen laughter and kindness from her. I have seen her staff and how they all work together and if someone is complaining it must be because they didn't live up to the standards of what was required of them. JK is a fighter and obviously you are not. You sit behind your computer trying to defame a women who has done more with her life than you will even do in 30 life times. She is a giver, so much so I have even seen her give to women who don't have anything, not even a place to lay their head down at night. I have seen her open her home and give to people time and time again.For this person who is such a coward to go online and try to destroy JK or hurt her was just plain sad and pathetic. You Ms. Anonymous are a coward! And we all hope you get just what is coming to you for trying to publicly harm a company. Get a lawyer if you feel you have been terminated unjustly. I doubt you will since you are nothing more than a liar and coward.
