He did not do the job.
On top of it Kevin Ball says he will charge me
$52 to come there
$292 to diagnose the water heater
$149 to do the warranty paperwork
$$$ to service the water heater.
He did not mention that it costs $202 to buy a new 40lb water heater to buy.
Is this guy a rip-off artist along with the owners?
Never ever get this company to service my home or business ever again.

As a general policy, Gold Medal Service does not provide estimates over the phone due to the number of variables that can be involved in any particular project. We will make a service visit to a customer's home to inspect and evaluate any issue or issues the customer may have.
We state in advance that there is a $49 service fee (+tax) that will be waived if any work if performed. The customer is always free to refuse to perform any work. Our technicians will prepare and provide to the customer detailed written estimates for all work suggested to be performed. The estimates will usually include several price point options. The prices in the estimates are based upon a comprehensive and thoroughly researched price book that takes into account many factors.
At Gold Medal Service we stand behind our commitment to Delivering Wow Through Service. We are fully accessible through many different methods - email, website, phone , facsimile, etc. If truly interested in reporting a legitimate concern, the reviewer in this instance would have been able to communicate to the owners and managers of Gold Medal Service to receive satisfaction.
