Golden Eagle Company, Northern Leasing Company ripoff New York New York

Golden Eagle Company is the name of the business that we dealt with, which is now run by Northern Leasing Systems. We had purchased a product from them in 1999, which was a credit card machine and when we got it in the mail we returned it because it wasn't actually something we needed.

In the process of this we were unaware of any contract or lease that this company claims we knew about. We don't recall signing any contract or anything from this company. I have asked them to send a copy of the lease that we signed and now am waiting on it.

But the gentleman i spoke to says why should they send it if were just gonna claim its a fraud situation so who knows if we will get thid contract in writing, because for a fact we know that we would never agree to a contract because we have always paid everything in full when we purchase a product/s.

They are claiming that we owe them $4756 for merchandise that we returned and they are saying they will settle for 3 payments of $800 for 3 months or we can pay them $1677 and they will send us a release form from the contract. By all means we feel that this company is just trying to get money out of us for a product that we don't have and for a contract that we know we didn't sign for.

This account is now 6-7 years past due and it remains on our credit and we are now trying to dispute it with the credit bureau and hopefully it goes in our favor because they haven't provided us with this signed contract they say we made to them.
