This is a letter I just sent to the BBB about them :I owned a nail salon business in Saint Louis MO called Jimmy's Nails we used Golden Eagles aka Northern Leasing Company to lease a credit card machine, I sold the business and transferred everything over to the new owner and started another nail business LG nails I purchased my own credit card terminal and currently use bank card services as out point of sale. We started receiving letters that we were delinquent on payments to Golden Eagle Leasing they started debiting the payments without authorization for sometime and then stopped for about 6 years then we get a letter again stating that there was a lien on the the current business's bank account for the amount of 1400.00 dollars until we paid them in full. We received harassing phone calls and court judgements demand payments of the accounts we had with them. My daughter called and spoke with a woman and told her we cancelled because I am not able to speak english very well. She then told my daughter "Maybe you're mother shouldn't have her own business if she doesn't speak and understand". They are very rude and have a lawyer in the office that deals directly with fining small business owners with thousand dollar court ordered payments for a credit card terminal that might cost a couple of hundred dollars at most. They are sending us more letters now demanding another payment of 1800.00 dollars for an account that does not exist . We did some research and the first case we settled they stated that we signed a contract for the new business LG Nails which I bought the machine out right and now they are coming after us for a first account we signed with them Jimmy's Nails. This right there is fishy to begin with why not settle the account that was created first ? instead they settled the one one that does not exist and then come back again to mail us letters for the account that does exist. The Missouri Attorney generals office has stopped Northern Leasing company from dealing in the state of Missouri because of so many small business owners that have had to fork out money for similar situations. They have since then change their name to Golden Eagle Leasing to come back and fraudulently scam small businesses again. I am in the current process of filing a complaint with the attorney generals office in New York City and the State of Missouri. We have done extensive research and collecting info from other businesses that have potentially experienced the same as us. If you research this Company by Both names your will see so many complaints the same as ours.
