I worked for Goodrich corp, now UTAS, Minnesota, for ten years. In early 2006 a Finance manager, Keven Ambrus retaliated against me for denying his sexual advances. He was, in fact, having a affair with another employee, knew that the chatter was all over the co. yet lied to his boss, HR, my boss, and all other employees stating I was spreading a rumor. He advised one of his employees to keep her mouth shut about the affair as he was taking two people to HR, myself and another employee. I later found out he also told employees he was working at getting me fired. I was called into HR in early 2006, met with Generalist Suzi Olheus and Finance VP, John Pain.
I was accused of starting a rumor and told I could be terminated. When I denied the aqusation and tried to give names of others who told me about the affair they did not want to hear it. Goodrich, UTAS are untruthful in saying they handled the issue as they were made aware of it, they are saying this was in May 2007. The truth is, on May 9, 2007 I had a Attorney, Jonathan Sigelman, write a letter to the companies HR Director, Duane Luebbers. Shortly after that Keven Ambrus and the other employee were terminated.
In 2011 I filed a lawsuit against the company and during the discovery process came across the statement written by John Pain, giving the details of the meeting in 2006. But, the date on the statement had been changed to 5/10/2007. This is fraud and a attempt to cover their butts for not taking action and investigating the retaliation by Keven Ambrus when they first met with me in 2006, like they are saying they did. In a meeting with Duane Luebbers and Ann Borders, HR Generalist, January 2012, after being sent home for calling my manager, Lisa Thomas a liar, for telling me I would be fired if I did not do a males work, which I have on tape, Duane Luebbers advised me that "you are marked as trouble and must work to remove the mark".
This my friends, is the mark of trouble put on my forehead when I hired a Attorney in 2007. This company is now under new ownership and I am hopeful that the new owner, along with anyone who does business with this company, will see exactly what kind of management is running the Minnesota division. The sad thing is, I have been harassed by Keven Ambrus's Attorney to the point I moved away from my daughter and grandkids, and am now living on food stamps. Because, not only was my name slandered at the company, Stefan Tolin has also slandered my name to all potential employers, including filing a false Police report. Now he and Tracy Van Steen Burgh, Goodrich/UTAS's Attorney are using intimidation and threats of legal action if I do not stop PRACTICING MY FIRST AMENDMENT RIGHT!! When they should be telling their clients to obey the Ten Commandments.
