Same crap, different wrapper...

Look familiar?
The program's the same when it comes to the advertising, presentation and (most important) how they charge and what they charge for.
If you really want an education in slick rip offs, go back to the site that fleeced you, scroll to the bottom of the first page of the site and look for a link called "terms". Read them.
Once the ice that formed in your guts thaws a little after reading that, go to any "Grant Masters" style site and do the same thing.
Again... Look familiar?
They're all the same crap, the only difference of which is to appeal to different demographics who want to make money the "easy" way ("free" grants, work at home, Google). They hope and depend on you being blinded enough by that cheap, cheap price not to nose around too much. that link to the "terms" is pretty small, isn't it? And at the bottom of the page too. A very long page.
Again, it's a case of knowing when something sounds too good to be true. If you stop and think for a second, you'll come to realize that $1.95 isn't even going to begin to cover a company's overhead for an operation like this. No company survives in charging just postage. There's always something more.
You thought you were getting a $1.95 promo CD or just basic info... I'll bet, if I looked at those terms, I'd see you signed up for about 3 services total, each one hitting your bank account monthly and that monthly total coming to about $120, give or take.
Plus, to get out of it all, you have to call each entity involved separately too. good luck on getting through on the phone to at least one of them (or more).
At the very least, this could be looked at as bait & switch or deceptive business practice.
