Grace Homes (Brandt Bentley) Storm Shields Never received roof that was paid for! St. Charles Missouri

In August, 2012 we contracted with Grace Homes to replace our roof that was damaged in a storm. The person who did the contract was local working for this company which was based in Atlanta, GA.  After a few months, I found that the local contact had separated from Grace Homes from bad business practices (I assume they weren't getting paid). They received a check for $5000+ for the work, however, it has still never been done as of today, 11/21/13.  The check was cashed within a month after it was received. I have made several attempts to reach Mr. Bentley and have actually had conversations with him for which he always made promises to get it done. During this time, we are blacklisted and unable to get homeowners insurance on our home and property.  I feel very duped and just want my money back to hire someone reliable.
