I bought a puppy from Michael and could not be happier!

From the day we had shown interest, he was great about keeping in touch, he sent several additional photos and videos when we requested them, and took a great amount of time over the phone to discuss any questions or concerns we may have had. He was extremely truthful about the pros and potential cons for each puppy we were interested and was extremely knowledgeable in the breed as well as the puppies bloodline.

Our puppy was shipped to us and he made sure that the climate in both cities were appropriate for the comfort of the dog. We requested to receive the puppy in a very short notice and Michael changed his plans to ship the dog within a day for our convenience.

When we received our new addition, he looked extremely healthy, well fed and groomed. He looked exactly like he did in all the pictures sent. He is absolutely BEAUTIFUL so say the least!

Dexter is 13 weeks old, and I know that he was cared for and nurtured well before we got him because he acclimated to us and our home with great ease, he is extremely obedient, has learned commands almost instantly, and so far, upon arrival he has whined at the door when he needs to go out and has had no accidents so far. It truly is impressive. If the accusations in the original report are accurate our puppy would not be so well behaved, beautiful, or healthy (mentally or physically)

I could not be happier with our new addition to the family and would recommend Michael as a breeder any day!!

My boyfriend and I had been searching for a boxer puppy for weeks, doing extensive research on different breeders before we decided to purchase. We bought from Michael last week and could not be happier!

I am extremely picky on who I will purchase my animals from. I wanted my breeder to show his/her puppies compassion, and to see that my puppy has been nurtured and cared for before a home was found. We had spoken with Michael several times before the purchase and he had a great knowledge of the breed and the bloodline and made us feel very comfortable that he knew what he was doing as a breeder. After receiving my puppy I saw that we were right. 

We were purchasing from out of state so he was very good at keeping in touch as well as sending additional pictures and videos when we requested them. He was extremely honest about the pros and potential cons with each puppy we were interested in, and that allowed us to trust him even more. 

He shipped the puppy within a days notice, moving his plans around for our convenience. He made sure the temp forecasted in both cities were appropriate for the puppy to travel in and took extra precautions that our puppy would have a comfortable flight. when we picked him up we were so extremely pleased!! Our puppy is absolutely gorgeous!! He is 13 weeks old, looks extremely healthy, well fed and groomed. He has acclimated so well and very quickly. We knew he was taken great care of until we had him because he listens and picked up our commands impressively fast, shows obedience, and was nearly completely potty trained upon arrival, whining at the door when it's time. 

I could not have been happier purchasing from this breeder. We love our new addition to the family and take comfort in the fact that he was loved and cared for before he found his new home! 
I would recommend purchasing a puppy from Michael any day!!

Professional handlers & veteran breeders,who would that be  Justice Handling  ,Veteran Breeders who would that be Turo  ,There is nothing you can do about the truth. prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.No laws broken........... Reports like this filed on other breeders? Who breeders like you.
   I swear all in this report is true ,I have searched all over this site for reports like you stated was on here about other breeders. You know what can not find any . Hell I see all your post on face book ,I am on your friends list and you don't even know it. There is nothing you can do to me that you have not already done by breaking my family's heart by sell us a sick and dieing puppy.

   Keep falling for that stuff handlers tell you ,Haven't you learned they just tell you what you want to hear to get your money the same lies you told me to get my money.

On Wednesday 2/11/13 @ 9:00 P.M. someone posted almost the identical posting/complaint on another boxer breeder (Ripoff Report #1009572).  It reads almost identical to the claims filed against myself, Justin Kirkman & Gravestown Boxers on Wednesday, 2/06/13.  Both claims against both breeders are completely false.  To say the least, the individual making these malious post is the same person.

Claimant addressed us as "Michael H. Graves II & Justin Kirkman which is Mr. Graves Boy Friend".  The statement is slanderous and  is absolutely false.  Neither of us have ever & will ever engage in any form of homosexual acts.  We are both Church going people & the Bible states in Leviticus 18:22, "Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind:  it is abomination."

Claimant states that he purchased a puppy from Gravestown boxers.  

FACT:  Gravestown Boxers, myself, nor Justin Kirkman has every bred or whelped a litter here at Gravestown Boxers until the whelp date of our first litter on December 25, 2012.

Claimant states that he bought a puppy 2 1/2 weeks prior to this posting which would put the puppies at 2-2 1/2 weeks old which is absurd to think that anyone is going to sell a puppy or even make commitments to sell a puppy at that age.  We did not even evaluate the litter until 7 weeks old before starting to advertise.

Claimant states that the puppy looked great which is a nice gesture, however, the claimant stated that the puppy was a "fawn colored puppy with allot of white markings" which is impossible.  Our litter of 7 was an all brindle litter.  2 flashy brindle males, 3 classic brindle males, 1 flashy brindle female, & 1 classic brindle female.  As of today, 3/1/13, at 9 weeks old, all 7 Brindle puppies are still at Gravestown Boxers.  Check out the puppy section of our website for pictures.

Claimant stated he paid the entire amount of $1,500.00 which is completely false because we have yet to accept any payments or deposits out of this litter.

Claimant stated that the puppies would need an extra two weeks for weaning from his mother which is an absurd statement.  Puppies are generally weaned from the mother by 4 weeks of age and to suggest that anyone has not weaned puppies from the mother by 8 to 10 weeks is unheard of.

Claimant states that he came to my house when the puppy was 10 weeks old which is ironic that this report was posted on 2/11/13 & the only litter that we have ever whelped will not be 10 weeks old for three more days on 3/4/13.  As a matter of fact, no one has ever been on my property to inquire about buying a puppy or a dog.  Only local friends that visit regularly are here pilled up on the sofas with my dogs fighting over who gets the sofas and who gets the floor.

Claimant states that he wanted to see the parents.  The mother and puppies were in the back bedroom in a whelping box until the puppies were weaned.  The mother makes her home in my recliner most of the time.  The father was loaned to me from another breeder and was shipped back to his owner via Delta Cargo (airbill # 00654636503) on January 14, 2013.

Claimant states that I have 6 to 10 dogs here.  I have (1) male (Diesel), & 3 bitches (Roxie, Sophie, & Jessie).  My other male, Fairbanks has been with my professional handler since the middle of January 2013.

Claimant stated that my dogs lived outside with nothing but a single dog house for shelter & covered in feces.  The fact is that anyone that truly knows me or my business partner will tell you that my dogs live inside my home & either sleep on a bed or the sofa.  They will not even sleep on the floor they are so spoiled.  I do have an outside facility (indoors with access in the back of each kennel that they can go out & exercise in and a 1/2 acre fenced in area) on the days that there is not extreme weather.  For anyone to suggest that my dogs live in anything but luxury is a fool.

Claimant stated that the back yard looked like a puppy mill & "where sweet and innocent dogs are exploited as commodities for a person's financial gain".  For someone that has only whelped (1) litter on Christmas day & will never have more than 1-2 litters per year, I find it hard to believe that anyone could consider that as breeding for financial gain.  Not even half of my expenses will be covered for vet bills & handling fees with 1-2 litters per year.  Some years, I may decide not to even plan a breeding.  For those that know me and my family, do you honestly think that my brother and sister-in-law that just built a $300,000 +++ house within 150 yards of my backyard would allow me to have a puppy mill in my back yard????? The claimant is simply factually incorrect!!!

As you read further throughout the remainder of the claimant's fictitious story, the claimant gives his fictitious puppy character the name of "Sam".  (you will also read of Sam on the report filed on a fellow breeder, Ripoff Report #1009572).  

Well, I must say that I hope the fictitious "Ole Sam" lives a long doggy life & finds himself in doggy Heaven someday.  At least, I hope thats the way that the story ends.....

ON A MORE SERIOUS NOTE:

I normally would never respond to such a report because 99% of the time reports such as these are filed by someone, in my case, another breeder or someone in the dog world, with hopes to try to ruin the reputation and push out the newcomers in the breed.  As newcomers in the breed, we are competition and I have found out that it can be a brutial world to be in.  People file false documents and vicious lies and dangerous rumors for personal gain.

The difference in this report is the author crossed the line by committing slander, defamation of character, among other criminal acts.

I have recently retained personal counsel to persue working with the District Attorney & the State Attorney General to investigate whom is responsible for making such malicious claims.  The author with be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
