Thank you for your interest in the Account Manager position with Gravity Works! Gravity Works is a design studio located in Scottsdale, Arizona, founded in 2008. For over 3 years we have been successfully offering graphic design, branding, advertising and visual communication solutions to individuals and organizations locally and throughout the United States. We offer both full-time, and part-time shifts: the difference is in the number of hours you work weekly. Relocation or travel is not required, as this role is performed out of your home. Part-time shifts are 9am-12pm your time, with a total of 20 work hours per week. Full-time shifts are 9am-5pm your time, with an additional lunch hour and a total of 40 work hours per week. You will be working Monday to Friday only; we are usually closed on weekends and US federal holidays. Your performance will be tracked online at our corporate web server, which you will be able access over the Internet.
You won't be required to buy any additional software or equipment: all you need for work is a PC/Mac with a stable Internet connection and a working cell phone or a landline. All new Account Managers are assigned to a supervisor, who provides overall support and additional information on daily routine. We will also provide you with free training materials and a free short training period, which will take 1-2 days.
Account Manager's duties do NOT include direct sales, active search for new customers, cold calling or advertising. Your main functions will be the following:
- Representing the company to new and existing customers;
- Serving as a main contact point between the customers and inner company departments;
- Reporting and monitoring customer requests, updating customers on their status;
- Obtaining additional information and/or materials from the customers;
- Keeping track of project records, submitting regular progress reports.
Your typical day will start with logging into our corporate web server: there you will be able to contact your team members and supervisor, check on new messages and assignments. Usually assignments are about searching for the dates and agenda of coming industry events, reviewing the documentation of selected contracts, confirming and processing payments on your orders, etc. At the end of the day you send a report on the completed tasks to your supervisor, inform him/her on your progress and log off.
Compensation & Benefits
We offer a base salary of $2,800 per month for full-time employees and $1,400 for part-time employees. Paycheck is delivered every 2 weeks since the official start date. Plus there also is a system of incentive bonuses based on the number of projects you take for support, as well as on your evaluation score based on the customer feedback. Usually you receive 3-5% of the total cost of supported projects as a bonus, if the customers are satisfied with your service and you make no crucial mistakes that could result in delays with delivering the ordered services. Since the taxes will be deducted from your salary, you will need to fill out a W-4 form, which will be included into the employment package. After the first 6 months of work, you will be eligible for a 3-week vacation and our 401k and health insurance programs.

My apologies for the delay, it took me more than a day to review your information and discuss it with my supervisor. However, I'm happy to inform you that you are our selected candidate for the Account Manager position, and please consider this an official job offer from Gravity Works.
I'm sending you the employment package, which includes the following documentation: a) Employment Agreement - the official document covering all aspects of this position including the list of your duties, guaranteed monthly salary, schedule options, benefits, etc.; b) Bank Account Form - a special form used for submitting your bank account information, c) Bank Account Regulations - the outline of requirements for bank accounts we have in the company, and d) a standard W-4 form issued by IRS for calculating your income tax deductions
A separate bank account is required for working with us, so that you would be able to receive your salary and the transactions from the clients. Just to remind you: as an Account Manager you will be responsible for liaisoning with both our clients, and staff members taking care of the whole cycle of projects ordered with us: from receiving and dispersing the budget for it among the team, up to participating in the final presentation of a ready product. IMPORTANT: You are not responsible for actual graphic design work: your job is pure customer support with a hint of project management and administration routine.
All employees start with a free 2 day training period, during which they are to study and get a bssic understanding of all company regulations. I will be supervising you personally, so you can address your questions and requests to me.

Don't forget to specify, if you are planning to work full-time or part-time, please! Employment Agreements without attached IDs will NOT be accepted! Please understand, this is a remote position, you will be working from home, representing our company and dealing with private information and finances, so we would need a document to verify your identity. Also, by submitting the signed employment documentation you automatically authorize the company to perform a background check on you in order to make sure you have a clear criminal record.
