If it is expensive, it must be good, Right? No?

POSTED: Sunday, August 17, 2008Many different people walked into her little office, and half of her job was to weed out those who could not be helped, or those who simply should not be visited upon other people.
Some men could be very rigid in their old-world thinking. They could not be matched. Other people, men and women, had various emotional issues that made them, at the least, problematic.
The first step was a 40 question compatibility-test which gave practical indications on a person's personality: overly rigid, passive versus active, being perhaps a bit unwound, and so on. Anyone who ''failed'' was talked out of joining. Those who ''passed'' got the sales pitch.
I suppose $300 then is $1200 or so today. But $6000? Wow!

I've heard good things about Great Expectations..

POSTED: Monday, August 04, 2008I agree that a dating service is not for everyone; however, if you are going to look into a dating service, Great Expectations, from what I've heard, is by far one of the more upscale services out there.
A friend of mine, (and we're out here in Richmond, VA, by the way..) joined a little over a year ago and is exclusively dating a very good looking gentleman whom she said she wouldn't have met otherwise. They are both very attractive. I'm actually a tad bit jealous, and have considered joining myself, even though I'm a tad bit on the young side. :)
They are now engaged and have set the date and everything.
It just goes to show you that not everyone who pays for a service is 'desperate', by any means. A lot of us just want to be more selective and are tired of wasting time in the bars and clubs.

What is worse than GE?

POSTED: Saturday, June 28, 2008Don't believe me? Ask a plastic surgeon, or a doctor that does liposuction. Just like this woman...for $3500 she expected Brad Pitt. Guess what toots? Brad Pitt would have to want you too, and I doubt he would if he saw a rear-end the size of a Ford F150. You cannot buy a real relationship, never could, never will. My advice to you and all members or potential members is to work on your self esteem, carry a positive attitude, and get active. The world is full of available, sensible people. The only thing you will find on-line or at a dating service is someone as desperate as yourself, and you wouldn't want that would you?
