This company obviously has an internal policy of lying to and defrauding people, making false promises or misprepresenting their supposed guarantee on the phone then sticking with their posted refund process from their website. There is also no evidence that they provide financing as they claim during their solicitation calls.
To help get this company investigated and hopefully put out of business, please send in complaints to law enforcement agencies (not just fraud alert sites like this). If you are in Canada, go to rcmp.ca. In the US, you may also contact the RCMP or iC3.gov to register a complaint.
The BBB is not a law enforcement agency but can't hurt either.

Crooks in Edmonton operate under the same name, Great Cars and Trucks

Hello Chuck, there is a group of crooks in a small city just outside of Edmonton called Sherwood Park that use the same name "Great Cars and Trucks". I think that these crooks that work out of Calgary and Edmonton area work together to rip off as many people as they can. It is my understanding from reading other reports about these crooks that the crooks in Calgary work over Canadians as their victims. The group in Sherwood Park just outside of Edmonton work over the poor people in the United States.
Also, most of the people that "work" for this outfit work out of their homes. If you google the name, James Steinhubl, in the search bar, you will find out all sorts of information about this fraud artist. It is my undertstanding, from reading other reports on this web site, that he is one of the head crooks of the "organization" in Sherwood Park. It also mentions in these ripoff reports that he smokes crack and downs six packs every day at his "office". You will also find his current cell phone number and current address in a couple of the reports on this website.
The sole purpose of this organization is to get the credit card number of the person over the phone. They then fraudently charge this number for their own gain. They do not provide any service at all.
The Great Cars and Trucks website is also bogus. A good majority of the adds on this site are cut and pasted from other legitimate websites. By the way, the names that these people give yhou over the phone are not their real names. Good luck in getting your money back from these crooks. About all that you can do is to contact your credit card company to cancel the charges against your card. Another thing that you can do is to contact the RCMP here in Edmonton. The detachment here is called K Division. Also, please contact the appropriate authorities there in the States.
If enough of us work together to get the word out there about these crooks, they will be shut down. Good luck to you Chuck. I do not want to give out my name or location because certain people in this crook outfit are very dangerous and I live too close to them.
