This stared the day i bought the greendot prepaid visa, i came home after buying the green dot prepaid visa for 9.95 at rite aid, I came home and called to get it activated while talking to Kevin he told me about the premier card which is suppose to waive atm fees for a one time fee of 19.95 and then he says but on the 19.95 there is an instant rebate.
Kevin goes on to tell me that the 19.95 cost would be put right back on card all I needed to do was go to www.greendotonline/premierrebate BULL.
I asked him several tmes its instant Yes he tells me just go to the site put in the promo code i ave you and it willl be instantly put back on.
So needlesss to say i thought ok no atm fees thats 2 to 3 bucks each time as high as 3.50 and im getting the 19.95 that i will need right back nothing to lose well so far ive not received the rebate.
This started September 7,2008 I hang up the phone go to my computer try repeatley to get to the site and could not, then i try again to find this rebate is a scam reports from other customers.
I called back to GREEN DOT right away to tell the I do not want the premier card,they tried to convince me it was not a scam but SCAM is what it is even thou they tried to get me to stay premier i said no i just want the regular card.
The card was to be here in 7-10 business well that didnt happen I called about not receiving my card and after raising hell I got a supervisor and He (Kane) was his name calls me back I was told he was on a call but would call me within the hour 61/2 hrs. later he called and agreed to send me the cards fed ex at the companys exspense meanwhile ive also got texts everyday saying my gren dot card ending 6900 had a 65.00 balance. Well the text changed to 35.10. aaaaaaaaaa why is this I ask him since others could not access my account for some reason, he said well the fee for the premier account is 19.95 then the monthly fee of 5.00 oh let not forget the maintaince fee of 4.95 so now i went from 65.00 to 35.10 but was assured by customer service that by the time fed ex got the cards to me that the money 29.90 for a card I hadnt even gotten yet but have been told by lets not leave the great names of customer service people out.
5) the ones I hung up on because they could not speak enough english for me to understand there name.
And then today hurray I got the cards open it Im like no they didnt they say Premier.

the i am p****** voice "what is my balance because I know that you will fix today if its not right since I know its in the computer and if its not right im going to problem solvers Ruth to the rescue and oh yeah Bill Spencer. well as of today my cards arrived fed ex my balance is 35.10 an she assures me that in two days the 29.90 will be replaced know way she could do it today no way.
And here is the kicker thru all the aggravation I forgot what pin I choose I say to my friend that is listening the whole time about the money thing and everytime i spoke with customer service I say just imagion how hard it will be to get my pin changed so I call and push in card number get customer service

Name and birthdate and she let me pick a new pin for the card, cant get the money back, didnt receive cards for 17 days cause first ones i didnt get,
But the pin was easily regiven with just my name and bithdate how about that for customer service and trusting your money with a company like
