Green Tree Housing Servicing I have always had issues with greentree. They are rude on the phone and are always threating to come reposse the house. They also debited money out of my account without consent and then charded me a phone fee and returned returned debit fee-- I had the bank return the debit-- even though I never had a conversation with them giving them permission. My husband and I got this loan when we were young and many stuggles and changes have occured. I am a teacher and get paid once a month. I have tried several times to get greentree to change the due date to the end or beginning instead of the middle of the month over the years.
They refused so it always appeared that the payment was late even though they always got there money around the same time. Over the years stuggles have happened but they have always eventually got paid. We have moved out of the house into something bigger because I now have 5 kids.
I still have paid on the other house but due to certain circumstances have fallen 3 months behind and in the process of sending them mopney to try to catch up. The only arrangements they want to make is to threaten me with coming to get the house.
I have promised to be fully paid in three months by send ing 300 now 200 in two days and another $433 on the first and $400 more on Jan 1st. The payment itself is $250.00. I tried calling to get the account number and address to send the payment to and the lady was rude and refused to give me the info because I was not on the note--my husband and mom are.
Yet, they call me daily to get money and ask for me specifucally and they have reported me to the credit companies as slow pay and late pays. Should I go ahead and send the money and get caught up so action does not have to be taken or can they even if I pay out the way I had planned? Mouse

you need to do 1 of 2 things from now on: wire your pymnts (yes it may cost $9.50 but its worth it) or set your pymnts up online or speak to a rep for 3 mos. By law they can call you requesting pymnt but the best thing to do is have your parents authorize you for all acct details and pymnt status, this way you can give them your acct info when they call. as far as taking money from your acct its a felony and you have legal grounds with greentree and your bank for violating privacy laws. if you want to mail your pymnt plz get the office address to your acct rep and not mail your pymnts to the palatine address it takes too long to reach them in the meanwhile you're still showing past due until its phyiscally posted in the bank. most acct reps find it hard to believe the excuse The checks in the mail its a tactic used to give more time, so if you dont want your credit reprot ding try those options, best line of communication is simply return a call to your rep let them know when they can expect pymnt trust me when and if hard times come around they'll wanna help you because of your pymnt history speaks for itself
