2008 now we are 2 months behind. I finally have $1,200.00 of the money that I owed them, I spoke the the rep ( RUDE) she said we need $ 1400.00 by 5pm - i told her all i had was the 1200.00 - she got quite - then told me this wouldnt work she need the full 1400.00 or they will proceed to the forclosure status. I said for the lack of 200.00 - she said " EVEN IF YOU SEND IT WE STILL CAN FORCLOSE" by this point i have had enough with these people told her GO AHEAD i give up - cant please you so screw you....
But It is June of 08 there is a for sale sign on my house and guess what we still have not heard from there lawyers nor have we recieved any paper work telling us to remove ourselves from the property.... MMMMMMM
little funny there. HUH
Im willing to stand up to these people - they slowly screw you into the ground. i didnt want to lose my house by no means but ya know you can only stand hearing " WE CANT HELP PEOPLE LIKE YOU " for soooooo long ...
Any thoughts of what I should do ??? considering I got no paper work of the forclosure ...

If your not - ask yourself a question (again not trying to be rude) can you afford your home? Meaning if your rep was able to bring your account current and you were no longer behind - will you be able to continue to keep your account current? If yes - call your rep - calmly explain your situation and see if you qualify for a deferral or extension - to qualify you need to have made a min of one full payment within the last 30 days and you'll need to pay any late fee's you may have - you also cant have already had a deferral within the past 12 months - your rep will help you with the details and go over a budget with you - if you are approved ( I submit about 4 deferrals a month and since i've worked for the company ive only had one not get appoved) not only will your account be brought current but in most cases you'll get a month of no payments before your next one is due.
#2 UPDATE EX-employee responds
GreenTree Servicing is an FKA of Conseco Finance not an AKA

The company Greentree has been sold off in parts to various companies including GE. Collection shops operate in various states to service the remaining portfolio. The Greentree you are dealing with is not an AKA but an FKA of Conseco Finance.
Send a certified letter describing your situation to the chief legal counsel, Brian Corey of Green Tree in St. Paul. Stick to the facts of the case and leave off the name calling and emotion.
Keep a copy for your records and send copies to the Federal Trade Commission, Attorney General in Minnesota and the state in which the property resides.
I worked for the company for many years before being laid off. Mr. Coss was a reputable person. The company took a dramatic slide after the purchase by Conseco and subsequent leadership which followed in St. Paul and Tempe, AZ.
