Also Virginia has an area that you can make complaints about such companies.
I urge all victims to check out your state requirements and see where Green Tree must register to do business. MAKE A COMPLAINT with that Agency. The more complaints we victims get to the agencies the better off we are.
For those in Virginia, go to the State Corporation Commission Website. Then go to the Bureau of Financial Institutions. Then hit file a complaint. You will need to know what entity Green Tree falls under it is Consumer Finance. I have already done so. Virginia is aware of my complaint. Anyone in Virginia have problems with Green Tree should do the same.
I do believe all states have basically the same type of set up. File your complaints with these divisions. This way we get the word out to our states that this is a predatory lender just like Conseco!
