The past 5 years have been pretty rough on my husband and I. We have had some personal problems along with the financial problems. Well, last December.....yeah December! A few days before Christmas, we received a call from our agent at GreenTree stating that we had to move out of our mobile home on Dec. 26th, if the total balance of $700.00, was not paid in full. I had only started back to work in November, due to illness that has kept me out of the workforce for most of the year. They knew this......but, now they claim they didn't. Anyway, the agent was really rude to me. He wanted to know what I spent my husband's money on, how much our bills were, how many bills we had, why I had to buy my daughter an annual at school....oh yeah! I told him it was none of his business and that if had actually looked at our account that he would see where we were having difficulty. So, my husband's check that was supposed to be for Christmas went to finish paying them off. They couldn't wait until the Wednesday after Christmas to let me pay it in full. My mother bought Christmas for my kids last year, and I'll always be thankfull for her. So, we are finally caught up, don't here a thing from them. Well, April of 2007 rolls around and my husband gets laid off for about two weeks. With a family of five, and me only working part-time, this makes it tough. Well, our payment was behind 3 days and he called and demanded payment. We are still trying to get caught up. I contacted Green Tree and requested that they switch our account to another rep. back in Jan. of 2007. NEVER HAPPENED!!! They don't have record of that! Wonder why? They seem to lose records alot! We are currently trying to find someone else who will finance our mobile home, but it's hard. I've even went as far as contacting the better business bureau and it doesn't help.
