They use PO Boxes, out in the middle of nowhere, for contact addresses and the only physical address even looks bogus as it starts off with the term Mailstop
My first dealings with Green Tree were after my brother had his first debilitating stroke and I had to manage some of his affairs.
I had filed an insurance claim and these Green Tree people did everything they could to make things hard in having the storm damaged roof repaired. It took months and even at the final moment, Green Tree tried to get Roger to return some of the Insurance money..
Does the word Craven come to mind?
The contractor that did the repairs never got his complete pay off with this company and just gave up, took the loss, and left with a solemn voodoo curse on Green Tree.
The final insult came when 2 months after receiving a certified copy of Rogers death; they send a bill for the next months trailer payment. Even billing him for the dinky credit life premium of $1.10
