So this has quite possibly been the worst experience I have had.  This is not the first time I have refinance a home.  My wife and I have two homes and I was working with GreenLight to refinance our primary residence. 

The initial phone call with Rick Dale went pretty much as you would expect.  He did make an odd request of me though, which was how serious I was about this, because he sees lots of folks kicking tires, they invest time and money upfront and if I dont respond to inquiries then it leaves them incurring costs with no eventual payment.  I let Rick know that I would be one his best customers, and out of the three requests that were made by them, my wife and I responded to all within 24 hours with complete information. 

Then I check back with Rick about 3 days after they had everything they needed and he said underwriting would take about 5-7 days so I waited until day 7 and still no word.  I called and emailed Rick and he let me know I would now be working with Pete Rivera the loan closing coordinator.  In one of my many check ins after more time went by Pete finally responded and let me know there were 30 loans ahead of me (not sure why that is my problem). 

During my next interaction with him I was told I would be signing docs on the following Wednesday, and as you can imagine I did not.  I did not hear anything from them and I sent them an email and tried to call 3 times and all communication ceased.  Then a week later Pete actually picked up the phone and let me know I would be signing docs the following Monday and started telling me that my file was classified as "WET".  Not only am I not sure what that means, but I dont care either. 

My credit score is above 800, like I said I have two houses and all my responses to inquires were down in less than 24 hours.  With that said I have moved on to a new broker and things are going well.  I would stay away from these guys if I were you.  They are simple incompetent and dishonest.  The funniest part of this whole thing is there rates are not the lowest either, come to find out. 

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME ON THESE GUYS!

Update to my earlier post

So we are ready to close and after writing my first post.  I felt it only fair to give an update now that we are almost complete with the process. We did get off to a rocky start, due to lack of communication,  but since my post on the 29th Rick and Pete, stepped up, doubled their efforts and we are getting this done in a timely fashion. The communication after the original post has been great and these guys focused on getting this done. I would give these guys another go if I was starting this process.
