We received a notice from Midland Credit Management, dated 10=14-2011, saying that our son owed $912.19 to a creditor whom they represented. They threatened legal action if we did not contact them, saying - untruthfully - that they had made several attempts to contact us.
We then received a notice from Greene & Cooper Attorneys, dated 12-7-2011 that they were now representing Midland Funding LLC, and offered to send us information if we requested it within 30 of receipt of their notification. We wrote them on 12-13-2011 requesting verification of the original debt, and details of the alleged indebtedness. We never heard from them, but have received word - indirectly - that there is now a law2suit in Magistrate Civil Court.
We have NOT been served with any court papers. Can't we get these Midland peiple out of business???
