We received a notice from Midland Credit Management, dated 10=14-2011, saying that our son owed $912.19 to a creditor whom they represented. They threatened legal action if we did not contact them, saying - untruthfully - that they had made several attempts to contact us.
We then received a notice from Greene & Cooper Attorneys, dated 12-7-2011 that they were now representing Midland Funding LLC, and offered to send us information if we requested it within 30 of receipt of their notification.We wrote them on 12-13-2011 requesting verification of the original debt, and details of the alleged indebtedness. We never heard from them, but have received word - indirectly - that there is now a law2suit in Magistrate Civil Court.
We have NOT been served with any court papers. Can't we get these Midland peiple out of business???
