 In April 2014 I started a refi with Greenlight loans. I was in the process for 4 months when they told me they were unable to help me. Ive been on such an emotional roller coaster and feel like ive done nothing but waste time working with them. I would HIGHLY reccomend going with another lender if possible, since everuyone at this company is inept.

The Office of Consumer Affairs at Greenlight Loans has concluded an internal investigation on the consumer’s claim. We have determined the borrower was unable to provide documentation to validate a 12 month mortgage payment history solely paid by the borrower. This is a requirement when removing a borrower from a loan to ensure the borrower remaining on the new mortgage has the financial ability to repay the loan. As a responsible lender, our underwriting department must abide by mortgage lending guidelines.  Please contact The Office of Consumer Affairs at Greenlight Loans 877-476-5868 to address any further questions or concerns.

The Office of Consumer Affairs at Greenlight Loans is unable to locate any record of your loan application based on the information provided in the complaint. Furthermore, as a responsible lender our underwriting department must review and validate all aspects of the loan to assess  the borrower's ability to repay the mortgage including the risk of the loan as a whole. To determine this, our underwriting department analyzes the borrower’s employment history, income, liabilities, assets and equity position. It is important to keep in mind that each borrower and each loan is unique and many borrowers may not fit every guideline. We regret that you had a less than satisfactory experience with us and would appreciate the opportunity to discuss the particulars of your complaint in detail.
