I have the exact same story, I gave a check, over the phone, I have the voided check if that helps. My story is d**n near exactly the same. Word for word. I gave creditors his phone #, suddenly I get a call from one that said his # was disconnected. I am on SSI low income with 2 small children. It was near impossible to give him the 195 dollars. I cannot do it again, and the calls are driving my wife and I nuts. I am in trouble. can anyone help. Thanks for all replys.
