To Whom It May Concern:
I am writing to express my extreme disappointment and outrage at how my Trip was handled. I have not rode a grey hound bus in over 10 years, and will not be riding it again, due to the harassment from your driver, which made the trip to Illinois very stressful.
I boarded the bus on the way to Chicago that morning of August 16th. The Driver was an Asian man who was very rude and harassed all the passengers during the duration of the trip. It was awful.
While he was driving he blurted out that we could not talk on our cell phones because what we have to say was not important. He also started screaming that we would “kick people off the bus” if they were caught laughing or talking. This was by far the worse experience I’ve ever had with Greyhound!
While driving from destination to destination for other stops, the driver continued to yell that he would put people off the bus if they got rude with him or he heard us talking. The problem, I have with this driver is that, no was saying a word on the bus the whole time during the trip. He was not directing his anger to any particular person that they were doing anything wrong.
The passengers were silent. I think this driver needs to be checked for drug use on mental health issues because he was way too hostile.
I was very afraid of him and will never ride the grey hound again, I would have hated to bring my kids on the bus and they felt threatened every hour to be put off the bus and were totally innocent.
It did not make sense. It was as if the driver hated people and hated his job and was on the edge borderline of taking his frustrations out on the passengers. I hope my receiving this letter that this driver would be investigated and reprimanded. I am a tax payer and a hard worker and I deserve to have a peaceful ride on your buses without being harassed by the driver. It is totally unacceptable.
Everyone on the bus that night said that they were going to file a complaint against this driver and that most of them felt like they were being verbally and emotionally abused by the driver. If this issue is not addressed, I will be forwarding this letter to everyone I can, including any means of social media, and the attorney general’s office and BBB or news medial if I have to.
