I bought a cat from Tracy and the cat arrived on time with all papers, however, the cat was sick.  I spent $100 at the vet for treatment.  I contacted Tracy and she agreed to take the cat back and pay for shipping....how nice!  But she never refunded my $1500 that I paid for the cat!  I filed a small claims suit in OH with the courts, the sheriff tried to serve her 8 times but she would not come to the door.  She then began sending psychotic emails every hour for 2 days straight.  She stole $1500.00 from me.  After dealing with her I am confident to say that she has serious emotional and/or mental issues.  DO NOT have any dealings with this woman.  She is a thief!  Please contact me to verify if you wish (((ROR redacted)))

First & foremost the said Sphynx Kitten was & is healthy.


 She was healthy when Ms Burks picked her up at the airport & she was healthy when Ms Burks took her to Gastview Vet Clinic on 2/17/10. Article no 186698: I have the legal signed form her Vet Signed for the Tennesse Department of Agriculture.


Ms Burks contacted me the first week of Feb 2010 stated that she lost her job & she could no longer feed the kitten that she adopted from me. Ms Burks also stated she was being evicted. Ms Burks flew the sphynx to me collect for she could not afford to send the cat to me. Rather then one of my sphynx go to a shelter....yes I paid for her flight.


Ms Burks spent $84 at the vet. not $100 Not for a sick cat but for the healthy cat to get her flying papers to come back to my home. I have over $600 in airfare alone for this cat.


After receiving the kitten back I sent her the following email which she never replied to. She never ask how the kitten was either. If you are going to spend $1500 for anything make sure you are ready for responsibity.

I have put a lot of thought about what to do regarding this situation. Contractually I am not obligated to refund you anything see excerpt from contract below: Unforeseeable circumstances such as but not limited to divorce, relocation, and/or death of the caretaker can occur, leaving a pet homeless. Buyer agrees that under NO circumstances will the kitten/cat EVER be sold, leased, or given to any pet shop, animal shelter, research laboratory, or similar facility. Should Buyer not be able to keep the above kitten/cat for any reason, including the incapacitation or death of the Buyer, the Seller has the FIRST option to take said kitten/cat back at no charge including shipping to be re-homed or kept by Groovy Sphynx no questions asked. Buyer will at no time resell, lease, give away or otherwise transfer ownership without written permission from the Seller. This remains in effect for the ENTIRE life of the kitten/cat. I want to be fair so this is what I decided to do. I will make every attempt to resell the kitten for as much as I can. Keep in mind the market is saturated with Sphynx kittens right now. As she gets older her value is going to decrease. I will take the amount I am able to resell her for her, subtract her shipping expense and refund you the differance. I paid the shipping cost both ways out of my pocket which contractually you were responsible to pay see above article 14. Contact me if you have any questions. I will be in touch. Tracy

 I am not Walmart.


Be responsible & think. If the cat was sick it would never of been cleared to fly once let along twice. If the cat was sick her vet was violated the law. Basic Buyers Remorse I am thankful to have the kitten home with me. I have not sold this kitten. She will not be sold or placed until something can be worked out with the buyer who lost her job & was losing her apartment.
