In Septermber of 2007, after a tv ad, I called 1-800-473-1746 and signed up for a brand new Dell computer. I was told that a down payment of $99.00 dollars was required. I paid the $99.00 dollars on September 28, 2007. Afterwards I made a $29.99 payment every friday. The payments was taken from my checking account every week. I was told that I would receive my new computer after five payments. After five payments I was told that I had to wait for a shipping invoice to arrive. After two months of waiting, I was told that I would receive a delivery date. I received a delivery date of February 11, 2008. I did not receive my computer. Then I was told that I have to wait until February 20, 2008 for a tracking inquiry.

Finally February 19, 2008, I was told that I have to call back in the first week of April to get another delivery date. March 4, 2008 I Spoke to Daniel (2525) and told him to cancel my contract and I would like a refund of more than $700.00 dollars and he refused saying that if I break the contract I connot get a refund. I told him that they broke the contract by not shipping my computer after five payments as the contract states. Daniel (2525) also told me that Dell was in partnership with their company and all of the shipping is done from Dell.

Their customer service number is 1-866-747-4119. I am disabled and cannot afford to not get my money back.

They got me for $1600 and i got a phone call today from a debt collector saying i owe them more money for something i never recieved. I'm all for getting a class action suit against them.

They did the SAME EXACT thing to us. And it was James Gibson that we spoke to every time we called. I definately think we should file a class action lawsuit!

So many of us have been ripoff by them, Let us all get a class action suite NOW!

James Gibson from CEC calls me on October 21st 2008 and informs me that they do not feel comfortable with my emails because I kept mentioning getting a lawyer, due to all the promises of the delivery and I have made 16 payments of $59.98 plus an activation fee of $99.00. I started this process in March 2008, trusting this company that I would receive this computer after the 5 consecutive payments as they advertise. This is False Advertisement and I will continue with filing claims with the Attorney General and the Federal Trade Commission. You all must do the same please, we must stop them. He then canceled my account, because I kept telling them I would get a lawyer and that I filed a complaint with the BBB. This company preys on low income and fixed income individuals that my have to breech the contract, they don't deliver any merchandise in hope that you will get so frustrated and cancel. And in this contract you will lose your money because you canceled, This is how they get you, Now they can keep all your money. I am moving forward, I did not cancel they did! there has to be a law against this and I will not stop until this is made right. I have contacted channel 3 in California and will continue on with, David Horowitz fightback.com and Kurtis Ming who helps with consumer problems on channel 13 here in California. Please contact me if you all want to get a class action suite going on Guaranteed Consumer Funding, I am looking for a Lawyer now that will help us. Good luck to you all Fight Back! Cheryl

I am getting a lawyer, They are really scamming alot of people. They have $1058.00 of my money and always come up with a reason way they can't ship, I filed a report to the BBB, You all must do the same.

Hey thanks Atlanta Guy for that encourging bit of wisdom (jackass). I think she actually wanted help instead of being lectured on the evils of telemarketing. As for you Ms. C, I recommend that you contact the Better Business Bureau. They have had about 38 complaints about the GCF company but the good thing is they have resolved all but 2 of them. They are more than likely going to be your best bet.

Probably, you'll never see a computer, and will DEFINITELY not see any money. You should have gone to Rent A Center, or Aaron's. At least you could have picked out your computer, and received it immediately. I doubt seriously it would have cost you more, and perhaps less money. Purchasing junk like that from a TV add almost always leads to trouble. Do yourself a favor.....stay away from things sold via those infomercials and other assorted tv adds.
