Just minding my own business one day when the phone rings, and it's these jerks @ Guardian. This woman was adamant about how I need to do this today or lose the deal. I had been applying for some legitimate visa or mastercards lateley, so I didn't think much when she called. She was telling me how I've been approved for this $2,000 limit mastercard, with NO interest! I told her that sounded a little too good to be true, especially with my poor credit..

She told me that was what the $249.00 was for, to help re-establish good credit in my name by making on-time payments! She said that's the price you pay. I asked her did I apply for this online or what, and she said yes. But I didn't remember the name of Guardian Financial.

After questioning her about the logic of someone with poor credit getting that big of a credit line, with 0% interest for the first year, she reiterated about the $249. Well I should've listened to my gut. That was God talking to me. Telling me dont do it. But I had to go with my own way of thinking! I thought there was actually a company who cared about people like me with poor credit, wanting to start over.

This rude lady got angry with me when i told her I just didn't see the logic in it. She actually hung up on me the first time I told her no. Then she called me two days later, and said we were disconnected. I knew she was lying, but I figured maybe she just has a bad personality! So I didn't listen to my gut.

Anyway, she also told me if I give her my bank acct information and have the $249 deducted by a certain date (by tomorrow), then I would also receive a free cruise to the Bahamas for 2, for one week. I didn't believe it! Then she told me, "yea, I just went on one of our cruises myself, to Hawaii, and it was wonderful!" I sat there and let this girl lie to me, knowing that something just wasn't right. Thats what makes me so mad, was that my gut was telling me to go against it in the first place.

I finally agreed. She had this other lady get on the phone who was supposedly going to record the conversation and get all my information, (so she can rip me off). The icing on the cake! The whole thing seemed weird. I even asked her, "why did that lady just get on the phone, was she sitting beside you? usually you have to 'transfer me' to another department!" And she said "oh the security department is just right here in the next office over!"

Bottom line, they took the $249 from my account, and I've not seen the card, and after reading these Rip-Off reports, I know I'm not going to. So I'm going to go ahead and start the proceeedings of getting my cash back. I feel dumb. And you know, it goes back to the old say "if it sounds too good to be true, THEN IT IS !! No legitimate bank is going to loan someone with poor credit, $2,000 at 0% interest. It didn't make sense, and that's why, it was not gonna happen, never in a million years. Banks are in the business to make money, not lose it.

So from now, I will always look at Rip Off. com before I sign my name away or my money away to any other business offer. In fact, I think I'm not going to do much buying or ordering over the internet. I'd rather be there in the flesh to see and feel what I am getting. Ya know? All you people who did what I did, don't beat yourself up, just learn from this. and start doin whatever you need to do to punk these people out. Paybacks are a Beach (a dirty beach) and I can't wait to get these punks in the sand.......

Most of the time, my gut isn't sitting there feeling something weird. But this time it was, and I swear to God....that is why we have a 6th sense, is to use it. I wish I had. I've used my 6th sense in the past, and it has saved my life, saved me money, saved me impulse actions, saved me a lot of troubles I would have encountered if I hadn't listened to it. So why did I ignore it this time? I'll never know.....
