I had place a want ad with Kijiji requesting a specific dog (Lakeland Terrier). I had received an email from Guy Joel Sielinou indicating that he had two puppies that he wanted to go to a good home. He said he lived in a city near me but was in Africa on an extended holiday.

The first trigger was the picture he sent of the puppies. My daughter has love for the Lakeland so she has been searching the net and printing pictures of the dog she is hoping to get. The picture they claimed to be their dogs of only 4 months of age was the exact picture my daughter had printed off the year before. The second indication of possible fraud was how fast he wanted to ship the animals to me and requesting money but not providing the proper details of how to make payment. Who would do the shipping and their details and his price was way too low.

The emails I received from April Harrison (toronto) and Jennifer Perkeys (Africa) claim to be the shipping company Canada-Pets_delivery and were associated with Air Canada. I contacted Air Canada and they are now investigating it as fraud as well.

I luckily realized it was a scam and they didn't get my money but they do have my address and telephone number. So please beware. I intend to bring this as far as I can so these individuals get caught before they scam other victums out of their money.
