HC Processing Center HELPcard...No HELP at all!! Springdale Arizona

I bought a SleepNumber bed at Christmas during a promotion which included using the HELPcard to make the purchase. I have done promotionals such as this many times before and have had no problem. I would pay the card off well before the interest marking the end of the promotion could be initiated.

However, the HELPcard follows its own set of rules.

I paid off my entire balance in April ($2,862.91). The check arrived late. I had a late charge of $39.00. I was upset and called the company, yet they were no help. I mailed in the late fee...on time! May 14, I received another bill. This time for $86.12.

Apparently, my bill was still accruing interest even though I had paid the remaining balance plus a late fee.

I called and spoke to "Cat" who was understanding but firm in her position. I had to pay, and I had to pay by May 28.

How can these people create interest on an account that has been paid off and has had a late fee paid on time? I am so angry at being ripped off that I want to warn others...Stay Away from This Company! They are vultures who prey on you and sink their claws into you when you go down.
