I purchased a website from Heritage this year and have had more problems than I can count in the process of getting it up and running. Originally I was told it would take 2-3 weeks to get it up-and-running and the salesmen were smooth in telling me so. After all, I was basing its design on one of Heritage's OWN websites they'd designed for a customer previously! It wasn't exactly a REAL customized site. Despite that, I STILL had to go through THREE designers (was given excuses from appendicitis to a sick grandmother by two different HTML coders), 2 flash designers (again, the first offered excuses to why he wasn't available) and the whole thing took more than 3 months to get up-and-running when it is only a simple photo gallery!!
Now that it is finally up-and-running, I have 5 free hours of technical support I am supposed to receive. Uploading pictures to an existing gallery, I was told AGAIN by the salesman and flash and design people at Heritage, would take no time at all to do!!! They assured me of this!!! I tried the 'update request' feature they provide to upload 3 new images to a photo gallery but it turns out that - one more problem - for over a month or two, no one on their end, despite an e-mail approval written by me a long time ago, ever ended up approving my site formally in Heritage's system. So I submitted 3 images to upload to a flash image gallery on my existing website via e-mail to Kristina Roberts, as per Kristina's and my phone discussion. She e-mailed me back a week ago that they were received but, would not, as per her supervisor's suggestion, give me any time line whatsoever as to when they would be posted on my website. I have called several times since and no one else will give me a timeline or let me speak to a supervisor!!! They say my request has been put into a pipeline but refuse to answer either HOW LONG I will need to wait to have them uploaded, OR HOW MANY JOBS ARE IN FRONT OF MINE in the pipeline!!! NO ONE WILL GIVE ME ANY FURTHER INFORMATION!!! WHAT KIND OF CUSTOMER SERVICE IS THIS, BRAD STONE???
I have also left Kristina messages and now she doesn't even return my phone calls and my account manager Krystal Lowe who I then asked to speak with, doesn't even work for Heritage Web Solutions anymore - not that anyone at Heritage ever bothered to inform me of that either!!!!!
I USE MY WEBSITE FOR GALLERIES AND PROMOTIONAL PURPOSES BUT CANNOT PROMOTE WITHOUT MY SITE BEING UPDATED WITH ITS LATEST WORKS!!!! THIS IS HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! THE WORST!! I would NEVER use them again. I was Vice President of Operations and Customer Service at my last company and we NEVER treated people like this!! Never. Heritage Web Design should be ashamed of itself with its customer service rebuttal FORM LETTER that it automatically cuts and pastes to respond to each complaint.
Do NOT get your website from this company!!! Seriously, there are many other companies offering similar services. You would be wise to look elsewhere for a web design/hosting company to meet your needs.
