About 2 months ago I bought a 52" tv. I got to the store early since they delivered the same day. I was told they were out of that brand but would deliver it to me in 2 days. They had a program that if they did not have a certain item then you would get the next level up at the same price. I arranged to have a delivery for the morning since I had to go to a funeral that evening. My tv got delivered at 6:30 pm. So I missed the funeral.
The tv in 2 weeks needed to be exchanged due to the fact the color did not work. So I made an appointment for AM delivery. The tech told me "NO PROBLEM" Well on that day I called at noon to see where they were. I was told that since it was an exchange they changed my time to any time delivery. So I got the exchange at 5:30 pm. Another fun day of sitting around the house waiting. I called them to tell them that the way they have it hooked up I cant use my picture in picture. They told me they would handle it and make the arrangements. Well their idea of taking care of it is to ugnore me. Even after several calls.
I am in the process of going to the Attorney General and the Better Business Bureau. I have also gone another way to get my point out. I ma retired from the fire department. I have gotten on the web adn sent a message to every fire department union in the US. I have asked them to contact their union brothers asking them to ingnore HHGregg.
I also asked that anyone who did buy an item somewhere else than HHGregg to let me know about it. I love my union brothers because of how much has been bought other places. 85 bigscreens, 176 pairs of washers and dryers,95 ovens adn over 437 refrigerators adn feezers. That is just here in Indiana. I will continually do my best to have union brothers and friends avoid Greggs. I guess they should have followed thier own policies.
