HireBug.com

HireBug is the new employment company of Joe Gomez (Joseph Gomez) and Alec Defrawy (Alec Defrawi), two men based in Orlando, Florida, who ran the emodel.com employment scam (also known as Studio 58 Models, Options Talent, Trans Continental Talent, and Wilhelmina Scouting Network).

The state business registration record listed Joe Gomez. Defrawi is hiding behind Gomez. You need to know what's in their bag of tricks. They have worked together for so long they can now operate the same way. Gomez is one
of Defrawy's disciples.

TCT was one of the worst job scams America has ever seen which was founded by Defrawy. The complaints are everywhere including on this website. Joe Gomez (Joseph Gomez) is even mentioned on this website in the context of his work at that scam.

Joe Gomez also used to be the Customer Service contact at the BBB of Orlando in conjunction with the emodel scam. You can call the BBB Orlando office to confirm his involvement with emodel.

Alec Defrawy, who has changed his name many times, but recently to Alec Defrawi (ending in 'i' instead of 'y,') went to prison for his involvement in a multi-million-dollar job scam. Four years in the slammer.

Defrawy, the fat Egyptian, is a serial job scam artist, a chronic repeat offender, who has been scamming in job scams since about 1990, when he was not in prison, but there is always one feature of his job scams which are his trademark: free labor.

Defrawy tricks people into thinking they will end up earning a lot of money if only they first work for free. Carrot and stick. Carrot: high salary. Stick: free labor. The reality is he fires them before they get to the salary.

Defrawy was responsible for the model scout scam at emodel where scouts were misled to believe they would earn a high salary of $40,000 - $75,000 (carrot) but first they had to work on commission seven days a week (stick). Most were not paid; they were fired.

The initial fraud where the job scam all started was at Monster.com. There were thousands of job ads for a "Dream Job." Monster eventually banned the bogus job ads as did HotJobs.com.

A forum post on a Monster board previously said before it was removed:

First off... if they are expanding and creating new offices... why is their original office the "Thomas Sumter Academy", a school?? So first off, they don't appear to even have one actual office!

Secondly... a simple search of the word "hirebug" keeps showing this line:

"business for under $500 with unlimited lifetime residuals. http://www.hirebug.com"

Thirdly... read the Management page:

"What does it cost to become a Division Owner?

The cost of becoming a Division Owner is generally $495 (it may be lower in some states)."

... and note that if you are simply an "Account Executive"...you do not earn anything on your first 50 sales ("*Sue would not earn commission as she left the company before becoming vested (Account Executives are vested at 50 active accounts"). DOH!! If I want to work for free... I can certainly find better opportunities.

hmmm... can anyone spell S C A M ... or pyramid scheme???

What a joke the company is!

AUTHOR: Ted - (U.S.A.)

I worked with Dean and I am glad that he is telling about the company. I was appalled at the conditions at the company.

The office is a rat hole and the equipment is ancient. How can an internet company have 5 year old machines for all their employees?

What's worse is the company is very undercapitalized. No employee gets their checks on time. Pay day is always pushed back and about half the time the checks bounce. The company always tells people to hold onto the checks for a week or so.

I am glad to be out of the company because you need proper equipment and to get p[aid to do the job. They don't even have a real phone system, and employees often have to use their personal cell phones to call customers.

What a joke that place is!!

Scoutwebsite.com is ran by none other than Alec Defrawy, but goes by the name Allen.

AUTHOR: Dean - (U.S.A.)

Hello,

I stumbled across your website a couple of days ago, looking to find out more about the Shady world of Online Modeling/Acting service providers. I was let go from Scoutwebsite.com approximately 2 weeks ago due to my low number of sales, YES SALES. I noticed the article about Alec or Allen as he goes by now and I had to laugh. So I felt obligated to at least tell the story from an insiders point of view. He has since shedded some weight and has blackened his hair, but still drives the same ole black LS 400 Lexus.

First, let me explain the way Scout goes about receiving their leads. Every month they buy access to Monster.Com resumes (around $20,000,) so that they can send out canned letters to individuals looking to get a JOB IN THE ENTERTAINMENT FIELD. The trick is getting a 10-20% response from these letters so that one of the "Talent Coordinators" can describe who and what scout does and how the person can POTENTIALLY get a job in the industry and ultimately get them sold on the services.

Secondly, they hired a marketing firm to place them at the top on the Google and Yahoo searches and get a 15% response from that.

With all of these approaches combined, Leads are flying in at the Corporate offices of Scout, based in Sunny Weston, FL. But if you look on the BBB.Com website the corporate offices are suppose to be in Boca and as well as Miami, FL, but to be honest those are nothing but a single room office space and a PO Box # respectively.

Now for the Approach, the company story is suppose to have Scout being in business since 2002 (maybe as an idea, but not as a working organization.) I was hired as a Talent Coordinator for the initial launch, which was a week before Thanksgiving. Another side note and a very important issue is the amount of industry professionals and agency that are looking at the database ----are you ready----are you sure--- SURPRISE--- ZERO!!! There was initially 75 talent coordinators working 2 shifts hired and the biggest questions raised was, "Can you name a couple of the agencies that we have contracts with?" And every time that question was posed, the executives told us it was a legal issue on the reason why we can't state specific agencies, they wouldn't want to jeopardize Scout position with these agencies if they had potential models and actors call these agencies asking questions. Agencies are in business to look for talent and get them work, not answer questions regarding contract statuses. Another side note: There is a cut every two days and now there are only 20 talent coordinators left.

The Pitch, is the most important factor in getting the potential actors and models to bite on this fictitious dream realizing website. Most models will send in one to three photos in order to receive a FREE EVALUATION on their potential as an actor or model. And the Evaluation is suppose to be reviewed and rated by industry professionals, VERY UNTRUE!!! These evaluations are done by one person; no where close to being in the modeling or acting field as I am in being a French chef. Personally, I have received leads approving models for Fashion, Promo, and Commercial Print without photos. I have also received leads with approvals for individuals with NO PHOTOS and NO description, nothing but a name and a phone number. In these cases we are instructed to sell these individuals and tell them the evaluation is also based on this phone interview (which is only a sales pitch!) And in order to get the evaluation ----the consumer must agree to be the one to make decisions in regards to financing their career and they must also agree to have a credit card or checking account available, JUST IN CASE they are ACCEPTED! But, what they don't know is---- EVERYONE IS EXCEPTED, SORRY!!!!!

Although, I worked for this organization for about a month, I can truly say I learned an awful lot. Individuals trying to become actors/models are the one's responsible for creating these DEMONS (Shady agencies, etc.) I can't tell you how many times I've heard that the reasons for them not pursuing this industry earlier is due to LOW SELF ESTEEM and LAZINESS. My summary of all of this is: Although you hear these so-called stories of such and such actor/model getting discovered at an ice cream parlor, there are those thousands more that are trying to realize this through the same concept: LUCK!!! If someone is truly committed to this industry, not only do due diligence in research, PUT IN TIME!!! There are many ways to get discovered and to get in front of these decision makers at Elite, IMG, or any other agencies. Your going to spend some money; either in faxes, postage, gas, parking, etc., but in order to get what you want, you are going to have to work hard at it. These so-called ON-LINE Entertainment databases seem like an easy way to get your foot into the industry, while I am not an expert(just a talent coordinator, lol,) there are some that might be worth the risk and money, but SCOUT is NOT. Stay away-- Far Away!!!

HireBug Tampa office vanishes into thin air

AUTHOR: FreeAgent - (U.S.A.)

Last night HireBug's Tampa office was totally gutted, and all of their staff (98% free working interns) were sent home with no explanation what so ever. Now that HireBug is totally screwed you cant help but wonder what new SCAM Defrawy will cook up next.

Alec Defrawy - Shadow CEO of HIREBUG & Goddess of Franchising (franchiseitnow.com) - Terri Bears aka Terri Nix aka Terri Hatfield-Bears aka Terri Hatfield-Nix

Division Owner

AUTHOR: Robyn - (U.S.A.)

On July 12, 2004, the Vice President of Hirebug -Doug Daru from the Tampa office stated in an email that he resigned from Hire Bug due to new policy changes. I sent an email to the Company for clarification of Doug's email as I couldn't get anyone on the phone. To date I have not received a phone call.

I called the Tampa office phone number this morning and a message states that the phone has been disconnected. I searched for a private number for Doug Daru and his phone number is unlisted. I searched for a private number for the Regional Manager Deana Gorski and her phone number is listed in Casselberry FL, even though she claimed to be living in Tampa.

I called the contact phone number listed on the HireBug website (which is now an Orlando phone #) and no one answers the phone. The commission checks are due to arrive in the mail for each of the Divison owners and their Account Executives on the 15th of this month. I am beginning to smell a BIG rat here. I would caution ANYONE from investing any more money in this Company at this point.

Terry, You chose to ignore the one relevant issue

AUTHOR: Matt - (U.S.A.)

Ouch!

Terry,

I re-read my initial post. I deserve the comments on spelling and sentence structure. It was unfortunate sloppy internet writing on my part. I assure you that any written communications to HireBug were grammatically correct.

You chose to ignore the one relevant issue to this whole series of posts. It appears that some of HireBug's management has verifiable ties to a failed company. A company accused (by some) of being a scam. There is also circumstantial evidence to suggest that other alumni of that failed company are operating in some peripheral or advisory capacity to HireBug.

The prudent investor or job seeker should do their own research and use the findings to make a qualified decision.

New Division Owner speaks out.

AUTHOR: Terry - (U.S.A.)

Revise above copy to read as follows:

I don't know if Hirebug is legit or not. I can tell you that they have IT problems. I recieved the e-mail telling me that they had "seen my resume" on line no less than 5 times. I responded as instructed but have never been called.

I am a new Division Owner with Hire Bug in Massachusetts. I have a total of over 16 years experience within the advertising field. I have held positions in the advertising field of Account Executive, Sales Manager, Regional Sales Manager and Vice President of Sales and Marketing with an extemporary proven track record of success in sales and management.

Hire Bug may in fact have some IT problems but I do not think it is more of a problem than other start up companies and no more of a problem than some well known/well established companies as well. Monster.com has posted numerous positions in the past that I personally applied for; most of these positions gave an e-mail address to forward your resume, some of those e-mail addresses were defiantly invalid, confirmed by the mail delivery error I received from the company shortly after applying. Am I saying monster.com is a sham or has no value to the consumer? No, I am merely pointing out that minor IT problems are not grounds to base a company's legitimacy no more than referring to a completely different company to confirm or deny the legitimacy of the one in question.

As for you not being called, may I offer some reasons why you might not have received a call from a Division Owner?

1. Division Owners hire 3 Account Executives. All 3 positions have been filled in the area you applied for and your interest in the position is not a priority to the Division Owner at this time.

2. The area you are applying for does not have a Division Owner in place. Once a Division Owner is in place in the area you applied for, that person will be able to see that you applied for the Account Executive position, if he/she feels you are someone he/she wants to speak to, I am sure you will get a call at that time.

3. The Division Owner seen your resume and did not feel you were a fit for the position based on what the Division Owner is looking for in an Account Executive. (My Account Executives have excellent oral and written communication skills. From reading your post, I would have disqualified you myself based on your apparent inability to use spell check and your inability to form complete sentences in writing).

Clearly they are setting you up for a "cattle call" interview.

This statement is based on assumption and not fact. I personally do not hold cattle call interviews nor have I been instructed by corporate to do so. If other Division Owners are in fact holding cattle call interviews, it is not a practice encouraged by the corporate office from what I have seen.

It appears that their Account Exec position reqires 50 sales before becoming vested. Rather than hire an experienced sales force, they will get a bunch of green peas to sign up one or 2 accounts before frustration causes them to quit.

This is designed so they can get maximum out of many people with little investement. It is likely that 99.9% of the AE's will not make it to the vested level. They may pay a commission, but you are likely paying your own expenses.

I have personally seen a lot of resumes for the Account Executive position within my area. Most of the people that applied were not called for a phone interview; half of the ones that were called were not invited for a face to face interview. I have currently offered the position to 3 people and filled 2 of the 3 positions available. The 2 Account Executives started on Wednesday June 30th at 1:00PM for our training conference call. Since then the Account Executives worked the phone from 2:30PM to 5:00PM on Wednesday. On Thursday they were training with me personally until 1:00PM then were back on the phones till 5:00PM. On Friday, they worked a half day on the phones till 1:30PM because of the holiday and the fact that a lot of decision makers left early and/or were on vacation. However, in the little time they had to prospect because of training, the fact that this is a huge vacation week and getting to a decision maker is more time consuming than normal, they still were able to get 4 solid appointments scheduled for next week and one sale between the two of them. You do the math and consider what they will be able to do once they are fully trained and are not prospecting during a popular vacation season.

As for the rest of your post, all I can say is that the proof is ultimately in the pudding when it comes to HireBug and at this point the other company you mentioned is irrelevant. I have invested my time and money to try and make HireBug a success. If I do not see the projected rewards within a reasonable amount of time I will be more than happy to share that experience with you all. Till then, all you people are doing is hurting people like myself that had nothing to do with the other company and is working hard to try and make HireBug a legitimate success story.

I recently interviewed at another orlando company called "franchiseitnow" It is being run by other alumni of EModels. I'm sure that I saw Hirebug documentation on the desk of one of the interviewers.

Purely by coincidence I met (through a friend)a former employee of Emodels. Her advice was to "run as fast as you can" away from anyone who had been involved at the management level of that comapny.

Mr. Gomez may be a great guy and an honest individual. But the Hirebug business model certainly appears to be a way for a few people to make money off the backs of others

HireBug, Inc. The Real Inside Story

AUTHOR: Martin - (U.S.A.)

Dear Marc,

I work for HireBug and have done for a few months now. I have read all you have written with great interest. I know nothing to either confirm or deny anything you have said about previous companies. I can see from what you have written that you have very strong personal feelings with regards to the owners of our company (HireBug) and do not wish to sway you either way on this matter. In fact, I can appreciate how angry it makes people when they feel they have been wronged by a company.

I can only speak about what I know to be fact and am writing this to dispel some rumors and to add a different perspective to this. Before I started working for HireBug, I knew nothing about the company or its owners - so in essence am fresh to this apparent on-going saga. I am positive you could rip my post to shreds, as I could have with yours, and hope you are above doing so as you and I have no personal history or argument between us. This is also a one-off post and will not be a running dialog.

In writing to this board, I will firstly point out that I am under no obligation to do so, and nor will I be recompensed or recognized in any way, in fact - no one knows I am writing this! (I guess they soon will). Within this post I have used my real name and I can be looked up on the company website.

I consider myself to be a good and professional person, and would never dream of scamming anyone, and would not work for a company that I felt would - and that is a fact! I don't have to. My credentials can secure me with a career position within many industries. I work with good people who are passionate about what they do, and I have never worked within such a team environment where every single person in a company cares about the organization as much as this one. We are all just people with families making a living, like the vast majority of people out there working for other companies!!!

Our team consists of a great deal of experience in a whole spectrum of different businesses. The Divisional Owners are an extended part of our team, and the thing I most like about HireBug is we come good on what we promise. Part of my job is dealing with our Divisional Owners. I know how they are trained, recruited and constantly supported by our team of regional managers. I have seen how we continue to improve our systems, and how well our clients are treated. I have been part of management meetings and have seen the professionalism and pride that is taken by every member of staff. I have a great deal of respect for all of my colleagues, in both their intent and commitment in helping not only HireBug but Divisional Owners become successful.

HireBug is a legitimate company with a real office that provides a legitimate and cost saving service to companies. The fact that this is a Rip-Off Report and that you said So what if you got no complaints, what does that prove? concerns me. I'm truly for consumer forums when used properly and believe they can positively impact the direction a company takes in regards to providing its customer service. But the fact we don't have any complaints I think should speak volumes about the company. The reason we have no complaints is because not only are we a legitimate company, but if we can not provide companies with the qualified candidates they are seeking, they do not pay. Obviously it is in our best interests to help them find the staff they need to fill their vacancies. As for Divisional Owner's investments, we continually work with them on a partner basis and again, it is in our best interests that they succeed, because if they don't succeed, then we don't succeed as a company.

We do not take money from members of the general public for our services and save a whole host of companies' large sums of money on recruiting and advertising costs. I do not feel our service or method of doing business is controversial in any way. From reading your previous posts I have seen that you refer to similarities between HireBug and other companies. To this I say - if it's not broke, don't fix it. I know every business person of any merit agrees with that principle, and alone does not constitute a solid argument to prove wrong doing. I was once told by a mentor to take what works in a company onto every other company that I ever work for, as that is true experience. That proves nothing, but a good business person is one that learns from both mistakes and triumphs.

My position within the company involves being able to jump in and aid every single department, so I consider myself to have one of - if not the best working knowledge of HireBug aside from the Owner & Senior Executives. I KNOW there are no malpractices happening within HireBug!

Now I realize you may think I am nave, and see this company through rose tinted glasses, but please let me assure you that I have been in business for myself owning my own professional companies for many years and know how to smell a rat at fifty paces. No company is perfect, but I can assure you that HireBug is not a front for demons, terrorists, mobsters, drug dealers, cults or anything else. You may also assume that I am within the inner circle, and that too would be in error as I don't believe there is one. I go to work, be the most I can be and go home to my family, nothing more or less sinister than that.

I get paid, and so does every single member of staff at HireBug including Divisional Owners and Account Executives. We do not ask anyone to work for nothing. Divisional Owners own their own businesses and are paid in a very expedient manner. It's their responsibility to recruit, train and pay Account Executives. As you rightly point out that when an Account Executive becomes vested they secure a life time residual payment on any business generated by their accounts. That does not mean they do not get paid until they are vested, simply that they have a goal to work for. By suggesting that a commission only position is less than, wrong or criminal would put the insurance, automotive, real estate and many other industries out of business along with some large financial organizations. How many other positions give life time residuals and go from commission to a base salary with benefits on a licensee's behalf for their 1099 staff?

In essence, I am writing to assure you that no wrong doing is being done, and as I said at the start of this post, I would quit at the first sign of anything untoward happening. The people I work with are good, honest and hard working individuals who recognize the huge potential HireBug has for their careers, for the Divisional Owners, for the Account Executives and for our customers.

I know you will not accept all I have written and realize you are angry, and also accept that the modeling industry is a very controversial place at the best of times.

I can only speak from experience, but in all my dealings with Joe Gomez, I have found him to be nothing but professional, ethical and fair, and there is no doubt in my mind that he is the true owner of the company. Dr. Defrawi is clearly extremely knowledgeable and operates purely on a business consultant level and has also been very straight-forward, ethical and open in his approach. Once again, I realize you will not agree with me, but this has been my experience from having worked with them over the past few months.

I do not believe you are an unreasonable person, and can see from your posts you are quite intelligent. But I do believe you feel you have a valid reason for the anger you exhibit towards any former member of the modeling company, and without knowing about your specific experience do not dispute your case.

What I would like to ask of you though is that you think about what I have taken the time to write, consider the employees who have dedicated themselves to making HireBug an ethical success story and at least only post negative things based on complaints that are specifically related to HireBug.

This is a very different company and business model to the modeling companies you mentioned and as I explained above, runs quite a bit differently than what you portray on your post. All of us at the company have worked too hard to make HireBug what it is today. I would ask you consider this if not for the company, but for the Divisional Owners who have invested both their money and more so their time, efforts and livelihoods into this company and feel sure you do not wish to harm their businesses, their families or anyone else not connected to a previous experience.

Thank you in advance for considering my request.

Martin.

Almost signed up to be a "Franchise Business Owner"

AUTHOR: Trieu - (U.S.A.)

I recieved a few e-mails to this effect:

I reviewed your resume posted online. I feel that you may be qualified for our HireBug Account Executive position. The position is in your local area working for HireBug.

HireBug created a revolutionary way for employers to find applicants which has been incredibly well received in the marketplace. In other words customers love our service and we are growing to meet incredible demand.

Please visit our site at

www.hirebug.com

You may click on the Account Executive tab for a detailed description of the position. If you feel this position may be right for you, fill out the online application.

P.J. Thomas

So, I called interested in hearing more details. I was put on a conference call with suposidly 50 applicants around the US who would be candidates for a "Business Owner Franchise." The conference call lasted an hour (not an 1-800#) on my dime, and then they took a few questions. They went through a small demo but was very vague about the commission structure. Only a model where you put in some basic numbers and you can make 86K per year. Still sceptical, I called 4-5 friends and sent them their web site.

One friend gave me some good advice. To go back and ask to a couple of "Franchise Business Owners" to see how it's going. I asked the "Regional Sales Manager" if I could call on some references.

Here is the Major RED flag that came up: First she said yes I could and the she said no because they wanted to protect their identities. As a professional recruiter who had hired Sales managers for other frachise types of businesses like Insurance agencies, I ALL ways allow candidates to speak with other people doing the business! Even if it's only an investment under $500, it could be a huge start up and your time invested with 3 other sales agents you're suppose to recruit as well.

I asked the Regional Sales Manager what would be the next step. She said to speak with a VP and to have a credit card ready. So, they really don't care who they franchise to? They clearly don't do ANY background checks or references on their so called "Business Franchise Owners"

I have another phone screen with the VP of sales and will follow-up with more. However, if they see this posting, I might not be "selected."

Signed, VERY skeptical Business Owner Franchise Applicant.

Marc: No way the Florida AG will do anything - they are corrupt!

As Joe must know, if you get the right attorney with the right connections, you can sweep any crime under the carpet in Florida. They got Peter Antonacci to use his connections with JEB BUSH, who successfully defended Bush's daughter on drug charges and is well connected, to get Jackie Dowd fired for her aggressive pursuit of the modeling scam you mentioned.

These people have taken racketeering and organized crime to a new level in Florida and it is time for the Republican to get their bottoms whipped for their complicit behavior. That makes them guilty also. Charlie Crist is too dumb to know what is going on and he wants to be the next governor? Lord help us! At least in the past the corruption has been shared fairly evenly among the Jews, Mafia and Cubans. Now we are experiencing a hostile take-over by that fat-ass Pearlman's "Nouveau Mafia." (I am officially copyrighting that word because if Pearlman likes it, he will either give that name to his next boy band - or his love interests, which are likely one in the same - Date: 18 JUN 2004)

Hell, I even know that the Dept of Labor and Professional Development is crooked. I know that labor violations and sexual harassment related to modeling scams were not investitgated, which is a violation of federal law. Somehow, even the Feds in Florida have been convinced to turn a blind eye. They use corrupt businessmen to give them information about narcotics trafficking and illegal transactions, then give them a free pass to rip-off consumers. That's how anxious the DOJ is to play catch-up from the Reno years (another corrupt Floridian).

Bush is not interested in cleaning it up because he is term-limited out and owes no allegiance to Crist. Crist is not crooked, in my opinion, but his stupidity just allows all the other corruption to go on, which is just as bad. Meanwhile, the Russians and the Colombo Crime Family imports the telemarketing scams down here from Canada (a bunch of these rip-off stories are interrelated).

Tampa attorney generals office is in particular highly corrupt. Many cases seem to disappear out of that office, which is Alec aka Michael Defrawy's old stomping ground, coincidentally. I would just turn attention to John MacGregor, Assistant Attorney General, who seems to be the common denominator in much of what is going on there.

He also happens to be the one who took over the "investigation" of the modeling scam Jackie was pursuing when she was fired. He also negotiated with the bankruptcy attorney in Nevada to have the bankruptcy of Joe Gomez's old company transferred to Florida. How convenient for them all!

Even the Orlando Sentinel seems to have backed off on the whole issue, except for an occasional mention with regards to the Church Street fiasco. I love Florida, but it is getting to be very difficult to swallow what is going on around here. Maybe Pearlman could give me lessions.

> I have been working on the HireBug business tirelessly for over two years.

What?! Hirebug was registered with the Florida Secretary of State on February 23, 2004. Two years ago, you were working at Options Talent, weren't you, Mr. Gomez?

> and I am very proud of HireBug's accomplishments.

What exactly are those "accomplishments"? What are your credentials to start and lead a national company?

> HireBug's track record speaks for itself as we have received no customer complaints

So what if you got no complaints. What does that prove? It sure doesn't prove everyone who paid Hirebug or worked for it made a lot of money or that nobody lost any money.

> In addition we do not ask Account Executives to work for free. The website states that the Account Executive does not vest until they have 50 accounts.

How many accounts did model scouts have to get for emodel? Why were they fired all the time, while you worked at Options, Mr. Gomez?

> Vesting allows an Account Executive to earn lifetime commissions even after leaving the company (many companies never allow this).

Your company is new (less than six months old). How do "Account Executives" know if your company will even be around in six months, let alone a

"lifetime"?

> Account executives earn commissions immediately from the first day of their employment.

So did the emodel model scouts, didn't they, Mr. Gomez?

> As for any consultants hired by the company I can simply refer people to the [DELETED] website. I think that no matter what the controversy Dr. Defrawi is widely recognized as one of the preeminent experts of marketing on the internet and dozens of companies are competing for his services.

Your claim of his expertise is baseless. From where do you get "widely recognized"? From 1999-2003, Defrawi worked full-time for Studio 58 Models, emodel.com, Options Talent, Trans Continental Talent, and Wilhelmina Scouting Network. Before that he was in prison for almost four years after running a job scam in Orlando and elsewhere. He did nothing while he was in prison or working for the emodel scam which distinguished him as an expert at "marketing on the internet." (The internet was just starting to get popular when he went to prison in c. 1995.)

He never won any internet or marketing awards or any recognition from 1999-2003 when he kept a low profile because of his prison record, so where on earth do you base your claim he is an expert or a "preeminent expert" at internet marketing? Since he was virtually unknown until mid- to late-2003, are we supposed to believe he suddenly became "widely recognized" as an expert at internet marketing in 2003?

The internet marketing of emodel et al was bogus, thousands of ads on Monster.com which offered bogus jobs before Monster.com removed them all. What aspect of the internet marketing at emodel by Defrawi ever received critical acclaim or awards?

The Better Business Bureau said the emodel job ads with high salaries were baseless and emodel did not provide evidence employees earned the advertised salary.

Now you are using similar high salary job ads on Monster.com. So the question is... How many Hirebug employees have earned an income through Hirebug commensurate on a monthly scale with the annual income advertised on Monster.com ads? Can you prove it? Since you have not been in business for a full year, nobody can ask how many have earned $100,000. Why are you making six-figure job ads for an annual income when you have not even been in business for one year?
