After dealing with their bad service for 3 and a half years we finally decided to leave them and go with another server. Problem for us is that we decided to do this 2 months after they convinced us to prepay for one year of hosting. so now we were in a situation where they owed us money. It took an entire month for them to "figure out" how much they owed us. Even though they took the payments from our credit card for some reason they didn't, couldn't or wouldn't return our entire refund to our credit card so they did refund part of the money to our card but the last part $65.00 they insisted had to be refunded by a check. $65.00 fricken dollars.
The check arrives and guess what. That check bounces higher than the Chrysler Building. Seriously??? HIT Web Design doesn't have $65.00 in their bank account? That was in October 2010. After so many phone calls that I have lost count of being told "Oh we are so sorry, we don't know what could have possibly happened we will issue a new Certified Check and mail it tomorrow", we have determined that they do not EVER intend to refund us the remainder of our money. I guess our next step is to turn this over to the DA in Provo since they have broken the law. Unbelievable.
