We have been ripped off by HLH Group. We gave them $2500.00 to secure a loan modification on our behalf. This was backed by guarantee for your money back if they were unsuccessful in their attempts to obtain more favorable loan terms. We gave them over 6 months to complete this. We completed and returned every document they requested. We were strung along month after month with empty promises of it being completed. We never received an offer of modification from our mortgage company. When the 6 months came around we asked for a refund, and they said they would not give us a refund because the amount of work they had done on the modification request. We asked for an accounting of the time spent. The letter we received was completely unorganized with no accounting contained it, with the resounding message being, we are not giving your money back (not mention, it did contain multiple grammatical and spelling errors). Needless to say, dont waste you money or hope with HLH Group.
