We attended HMG's annual convention in Nashville, TN. Artists had opportunities to perform their songs on stage. Afterwards, we found out that we could purchase a DVD copy of the performance for $100.
We ordered a copy, but was told later that the film of our performance had "disappeared". They refunded our money, but without much of an explanation.
Apparently, they filmed straight through all of the performances, but ours was mysteriously missing. Their only explanation was that the camera came unplugged. Yeah, right. It came unplugged just before the performance started and was plugged back in as soon as it ended. If that really did happen, the cameraman would know it.
This was a copout because they deliberately sabotaged the performance due to our Puerto Rican nationality. Everyone else (who was caucasion) received their DVD except us. They treated the whole thing as a joke. I don't recommend anyone using their services.

would think this company would sabotage an artists musical performance. First of all, we film shows so the artists can have a professional copy of their stage performance. Second of all, we make money.
Maybe the cameraman had to change out sound equipment or it was lost in editing, or someone unplugged a cord trying to talk to the sound men. Who Knows? Working with thousands of musicians and artists, I understand they believe they are the best and we work to perfect their abilities.
We promote artists, the video was a sale and we lost it somehow (Only God Knows) so we returned the money. We needed the $100 to help pay the hundred thousand dollar productions put on that week!
For the past 20 years we have worked with thousand of artists only to receive very few complaints, so there is no way to justify this.
Puerto Rican Artist, we invite you to come back in 2012, we will put you on stage first and make sure you get a video!
