I'm getting burned up over some scam jockies that call themselves HOLD Billing Services who had the nerve to bill me through VERIZON (my phone company) for some mysterious service they supposedly provided me dealing with "streaming video." You know, i don't even know what streaming video is for sure, but i've never applied or asked for it or subscribed to it or wanted anything to do with it. I called HOLD at their 800 number and was told the charge would be removed from my VERIZON bill and was given a confirmation number to that effect. Well, the charge was NOT removed and it showed up AGAIN on my bill for May. Who are these people and how do they think they can pull off this stuff? My phone company just MIGHT be in cahoots with them, because as some other Ripoff writer related, the lousy phone company says i have to take up this matter with HOLD. Why the heck should my phone company allow these people to get access to my VERIZON billing account in the first place? Any lawyers out there that want to bust these goons, get ahold of me -- i'm sure VERIZON will give you anything you need to know about me.
