we contacted household finance for a printout and learned that the hugh balance came from defered interest during the bankruptcy where the courts were paying smaller payments but at the same time i was also making full payments to them.
they also lost payments during this time that had i not had a written receipt for i would never of been able to prove that i had paid them any money at all.
i think this is fraud and should not be leagl to do.
i would never again walk into a household office, as it stands now every month i have to go there and get a written receipt to make sure my payments are applied correctly.
