HRS-Household Retail Services NSF fee of $29 for a check that was redeposited hours later ripoff City of Industry California

My final payment to HRS was in the form of a check that was returned for NSF. I understand that and am ashamed that I bounced a check. The same check, however, was redeposited on the same day and went through. My records and HRS's records confirm this. HRS, however, felt that I should still be charged the 29 dollar fee for NSF on my check. That's O.K., I understand that. I thought though, that the company might want to waive the fee to keep a happy and decent-sized account active. They did not. They were rude and elusive on the phone. Their customer service folks tried to get me off the phone as quickly as possible.

What HRS USA did to me was completely within their boundary to do.

Did I like doing business with them? NO

Will I do business with them in the future? NO

Will I ask my friends and relatives to avoid HRS for financing their household goods? YES

Will I speak to the store manager at the retail location about the financing company that they choose to use? YES

I strongly believe that this is a greedy, non-customer service oriented company. The $29 that they get from will cost them much more than they think.
