Search Tipscredit card balance to $10,000. You do not say
what the balance was at the time you asked to
"pay off some of the principle" on the account.
You do not say if your statement lists or applies
payments to the balance in whole or as a partial
payment to the $7900 and part to the $2100.
A credit card is not an installment loan. It
is a revolving charge, and unless the payments
are split between the $7900 and $2100, how is
the credit card company (HRS) supposed to
determine how much is owed on the motorcycle?
How do you know how much is owed on the bike?
The only way for anyone to determine when you
pay off the motorcycle is when there is no
outstanding balance on the account.
Yes, "we are the only ones that can stop
these ppl from doing this to us".
Always read account disclosure statements.
Never purchase an item that will be used as
collateral on a revolving charge account.
In all the years that I have used HRS, I have
only had one small problem with them. It was
cleared up over the phone with two simple calls.
