This company is a complete and utter joke. They continually charge my husband for a card that he can not even use. We have had problems with this company since the beginning of the year. My husband had used the card a few times to purchase things but would pay them off as soon as he would receive a statement. We had not used the card for a few months and had no balance, we had tried to use it when we went to best buy and was going to purchase a few movies. It would not go through it had denied the card. We both thought it was odd since we had no balance and we had not used the card in months and had never received a statement. At the time we called the company to see why we could not use it and was told that our card was in-active. We told them to close the account then since we could not even use the card. We were told that they would send out confirmation of the closing of the account. It was then that we had received a statement in the mail that had a balance. My husband then had called again and had told them that he had closed the account and that he was not going to pay for this. The person he spoke with said that they had nothing in their records stating that the account was closed and that if he had wanted to close the account then he would have to pay the balance of the fees. My husband and I refused. We had told them that we are not going to pay for a card that he could not even use. I have tried numerous times to talk with the company about the balance and the account being closed and they refuse to do so while the fees each month are being charged and getting higher. Granted now that it is only about 10 dollars total for the fees that they say we owe. It is not the point of the amount it is the point that they are in the wrong for charging us to begin with knowing the account is in-active and that the account should be closed. We have not at any time that we have had this account received anything stating the card or account was in-active or have never received a phone call. We have had to call every time to find out about the card being in-active and the rest of the account. We just want it all to be taken care of. I have thought numerous times about just paying the balance that we don't owe and have them close the account. But I have not because I know that even if I pay that amount it will just be another reason, another excuse, another headache on why the account had never been closed, and just have further aggrivation or problems with this company. We do not feel that we should have to pay our hard earned money for something that we do not owe. We are reasonable people and truthful people If we had bought something and owed for that it would be a different story. It is just sad to see this happen to us not only us but the other people that they have scammed along the years and how many problems people have had to deal with. If they are not willing to work with us I do not feel that I have to go out of my way to work with them. All of the people that we have spoke with that work for this company have been rude and can barely speak English. It amazes me that this company is still around after all of the people they have scammed out of money.
