I dealt with this man for 6 months , filling out and faxing forms which contained HUD Making Homes Affordable Logo on the forms. This man requested bank statements IRS tax forms and all sort of personal information. Also informed me to stop paying on my mortgage, after six months requested $1400 half of $2800 needed for appraisals and closing cost, of which I stupidly paid. I contacted my bank , which informed me that they told Kevin Fox that they didn't offer any of the government modifications out there because they are a private Credit Union and that they were going through with the foreclosure. So not only did I lose $1400 but now i am getting my home foreclosed on.
