HURRICANE EXPRESS ripoff con artist fake nightmare company from hell SPRINGDALE Arkansas

Hello drivers well I really fell for a bad one here at Hurricane express .I really dont know were to start its so much to tell you.

I got to springdale ,ak on a sunday I drove by hurricanes lot to see what kind of trucks was there .I was in shock but I was dispreat to go to work I had 1500.00 bucks in my pocket and all my bills were due and behind. There set 2 peterbuilts with 110 in sleepers they was 1996 models i found out later .

The add said 2001 petes with 110 sleeper coming in daily well all the 2001 trucks that was there was the 70 in sleepers . Well i went on filled my papers out and asked them when did i sign the lease purchase plan they said oh well you have to drive 30 days before you do that to see if you like us or not .Well that told me a little there but i went on with the deal . I said well all this money im payingon this truck is going on the payments isnt it oh yea yea.

They said go on down to get you drug test .So we did me and my husband when we came back I said can I have my 25 bucks back taht was left out of the drug screen money I sent you . They said know we will put it in your escrow account . Well i said ok then here we go we get a load of chicken to go to alabama then deadhead all the way back to springdale,ar they said it will figure out a buck a mile o the trcuk .

This is what they was supose to furnish payed lumpers and permits and they give you a advane check to buy fuel .

OK heres what we got on are first check witch took 4 weeks to get .

9,000 miles grossed 6412.00 x 75% = 4809.00
they took 0.02 for tires =128.24
this was all in fuel i have the fuel tickets -2256.00

they charged us 90.00 to give the advance to buy fuel
70.00 bucks for there own pallets rent
70.00 buckslumper
50.00 tags
1020.00 on a 1.7 week truck payment
this left my check a big 1299.00

this isnt all i had a load on that payed 3900 bucks well i had it all figured and time they took the fuel out and the truck and all the other things i had down here I would have got a check for $33.45

So we couldnt walk in the office and say well i think we need to part ways . cause they would have never wrote us the check for 1299.00 that they said they had mailed to my house were my mom was checking it every day to see if it came in. So here is what we had to do the refer wasnt pulling the temp down enough to keep the load of sea food cold as it should have been .

The boss said care it down to thermo king in springdale so we got the check and i got my car that had set there and i was scared to leave my car cause the people had problems but i cared the check and cashed it at there bankk and the lady at the bank said you are not the first one to ciome in here and cash the check and leave town and never come back what is going on with this company i said its to long for me to tell you just make sure these people cant stop this check .The lady said no it is clear you can go I said thank you .

so i went over to thermo king and meet my husband and we cleaned the truck out that is were the boss said take it . then we told the guy to call hurricane when they got threw and tell them to seen some one after it we was leaving and going home . So we did I did take his pager and then I fedx the pager back with a note telling them why we left .

As of today 02-20-03 2 years later i learned that on my dac report they said we abandon the truck and we had miss used the funds and a lot more that i dont know about yet . i called dac and they are sending us copys of are reports were we can file a complaint to get this off are dac report .

I had a lawyer to check the lease agrement out and he told me it wasnt worth the paper it was wrote on and to get the truck back and leave it . we didnt abandon the truck we left it were we was told to take it . they got pissed cause we out smarted them and did get that check cashed .

please be aware of this and stay away you wont find no one that drives for them been there over 2 or 3 months at the most . If they have its case they just dont have know since or they need a place to live in the truck and with 3200.00 dallor paymentsa month thats were they need to live .

Please if any one has been with this compomany email me iam trying so hard to get a list of people names and try to get something done .i reported them to the better bussiness and i called ooida and i joined them but with out abunch of us sticking together then we will never get this scam artise shut down they have all the attorneys in arkansaw payed off .
plus when you call in to dispatch the guy named eddie

will cuss you call you every kind of thing like the spare tire had a pin hole in it and when i had to get it put on the trailer they tried to put air in it and the tire split open he said i wasnt doing my f----- job who is going to get a spare tire out and roll it around looking for a pin hole . Icould go on and on but i think you people got the message buy now . thanks dana
