Haggle This is an auction site. I bought credits to bid on items and when you run out of bids/credits you either have to buy more bids or quit. You get nothing for your money. Internet

I was bidding on a Nintendo DSi from Haggel after I had purchased 15 dollars' worth of bids. When my 15 dollars was gone, and I had no more money to bid with I could either buy more bids or quit bidding. I received nothing for my money. I would like my money back if at all possible. I figured my bids would stay in my account until I used them. Stupid me. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Haggle Hides

It's clear on the site that you do not retain your bids if you lose at an auction. What's not clear, however, is how the same winners keep winning time after time. You're also not told that Haggle can freeze your account while you're in the middle of bidding thereby forcing you to lose the auction and lose all the bids you've placed. Haggle froze my account during a heated auction. First they said it was due to "unusual activity" then they said "aggressive bidding", i.e., I placed two bids in a row at the 1 second mark. The winner and some of the well known bidders at that auction were much more aggressive yet they were allowed to continue while my account was frozen. The winner took a 32G IPOD for $2.53!. When I pursued my complaint, Haggle changed the time on the auction history and now claims I wasn't even bidding on the item! I posted a warning about this on Haggle's Facebook page and within 3 seconds, Haggle deleted my posting. That's not transparency nor is it honest.

Haggle.com being upfront????

Dear Company Owner, I don't think the problems with haggle.com are the "rules" or explination of the "rules"... it's more about the phoney bidders that run the price up, and.... use up bidders bids. I have done extensive research by watching numerous bids to completetion and it's apparent that the same group of bidders bid on most of the auctions. Curious????
You say that it a "competetive auction"... sure, if you only look at the winning bid price, and not what those bids cost. For instance: I watched an item sell for $51.20 with $6.00 flat rate shipping - Great! Except if you figure that the average bid cost $.65 cents, which when converted would equal $338.80.... Retail price: $299.00 That is more that if it was purchased new at a retail store. Sure - not every bid is by the same person, but when you have phoney bidders bidding and causing the buyer to use up their bids, it does cost the buyer more. In most cases, much more than if they used "Buy It Now" on E-Bay. ..... which, the same item with "Buy It Now" on E-Bay: $245.00 with free shipping.
If you want "real" trasparency of your company practices, then you should show ALL bids placed on each item, and... registered users should be able to veiw a bidders winning auction history. That way we - the consumers - can tell if bidders are just bidding to bid, or bidding to actually win an item.
