The total cost including hair products to repair my hair was over $200. I wrote a letter to Hair Raizers requesting $79 for the deep conditioning, hair cut, and the $15 dollars I paid Hair Raizers.
Hair Raizers has refused to pay me back. They told me that my hair was fragile and I should have known this. They even refuse to pay me back the $15. They are not taking any responsibility, at all, for singing my hair.

POSTED: Monday, February 18, 2013Hair Raizors was extremely professional, yet laid back, and everyone that I spoke with in the salon was super nice. I have no doubt in my mind that if a customer had a legit problem by fault of Hair Raizors, that this company would do everything within reason to make the situation right.

POSTED: Monday, February 18, 2013When we have a consultation with a client and they do not divulge the truth about their hair then it may prevent us from getting the best results possible. It is like when you go to the doctor, if you lie or with hold important facts about your health history it may end up doing more harm than good.
Here is a list of the photos I will be uploading with dates and information:
1. Nancy's hair photo uploaded on Facebook May 4th 2011 (her hair is a med-brown color and looks to be very full and flat ironed in healthy condition)
2. Nancy's hair photo uploaded on Facebook September 16th 2011 (hair is lighter than previous photo and may have been bleached or high-lift color the hair seems to be blown dried or flat ironed looking dry, thin and somewhat frizzy)
3. Nancy's hair photo uploaded on Facebook September 30th 2012 (hair is light colored and looks dry, frizzy and very thin) This photo was uploaded on Facebook 1 month BEFORE to coming to my salon.

POSTED: Saturday, February 16, 2013Please add some photos of you hair before and after you came to Hair Raizers Salon. It will just give me and anyone viewing this review proof that your hair was extremely damaged before you even walked through the door here. Like we discussed before your hair stylist from Colorado told you not to use any hot tools. You chose to ignore her professional advise and book an appointment at Hair Raizers and bamboozle the stylist here into flat ironing your fried hair which you said "its the healthiest it has looked in years". She did the best she could and turned her flat iron down to 340 degrees and added 2 heat protecting serums and only spent 10 minutes doing your hair after she had given you a consultation which is where you should have told her about what your other stylist said. Your ignoring your stylist of 7 years and you choosing to lie has put you in this position.

Responce to Nancy Nolin's Claims on Hair Raizers Salon
AUTHOR: Hair Raizers Salon - (United States of America)
SUBMITTED: Monday, January 14, 2013
POSTED: Monday, January 14, 2013Nancy Nolin called on Oct 27th to have a flat iron done on her hair at 3:00pm on Monday Oct 29th. On the day of her appointment she had called to say she was running late and would be to the salon soon. She arrived approximately 5-10 minutes late. When she arrived she had a consultation with the stylist and they talked about her hair and the service she was going to have done. Normally when we get a client who comes in for just a styling service we prefer to wash the hair and dry it and do the service from beginning to end. This client did not want the full service and this did not allow us to feel her hair in its most vulnerable state. As hair stylists we are trained to know what chemically over-processed hair feels like and the best way to know if someone's hair is damaged from chemicals is when it is wet and being shampooed. When a person's hair feels slimy or slippery when it is fully submersed in water that is a good sign that it is damaged and should not have any further chemicals or hot tools used on it. This particular client did not want a wash as she said she already had done so, which left the stylist to ask questions that the client should have been truthful about. During the consult the stylist asked her "what products do you use on your hair when flat ironing" she replied "I do not use anything". The stylist told her that her hair felt very dry and that she needed to start using product to protect her hair from excessive heat. The stylist did receive a phone call during this time and it was a client who was trying to book and appointment and the stylist took a message to call this person back after she was done with Nancy's hair. After about a 10 minute flat iron the client paid and left the salon. According to our computerized system which tracks all the times of when a client pays for services etc. Nancy paid her bill at 3:23 pm. This shows that the clients full visit to the salon was under 20 minutes. Several hours later she called the salon saying that her hair smelled burned and that she noticed it when she got into her car outside the salon. I asked her why she didn't come back in to speak with us about this problem. I did not receive an answer for this which made me feel as this client was not being fully honest with us. I asked her if she could please return to the salon immediately and she refused and told me she had wet her hair down. At this time God only knows what she did to her hair. As most stylists know you cannot flat iron wet hair because it will melt it. I asked her when she could come back to the salon for me to examine her hair and we made an appointment for the following Wednesday Oct 31st. Nancy did not show up for this appointment nor did she call the salon. She showed up the following day and I examined her hair and it did not look anything like it did when she left my salon. At this time I knew that a 10 minute flat iron couldn't be the full cause of the damage to her hair and I asked her to email me her previous stylist phone number and information. Even though I knew this was not out fault I offered her a FULL refund and also offered her FREE products and treatments to help repair her hair. At this time she refused all offers I had made and told me she was going somewhere else to have services done. I talked to the stylist at the other salon she visited and she confirmed that Nancy's hair felt slimy/slippery when she had it completely submersed in water. At our salon we flat iron thousands of heads of hair and never have any problems. Nancy stated "my hair had only been flat ironed once, years ago" but after checking out her photos on Facebook, we noticed there are SEVERAL photos of her with flat ironed hair. Facebook is a public site any anyone can view things that are not set to private. This showed us that Nancy was obviously lying about flat ironing her hair. I wish there was a way for me to publish those photos to this website to prove that her statements are completely false! Also there was an obvious trend of her having dark hair and it getting bleached/lightened which in turn showed her hair looking more unhealthy/frizzy. After receiving her email with contact information for her previous stylist we called her and asked her many questions. Her stylist of 7 years stated that "I do not use any hot tools on her hair" and that Nancy's hair is "very fragile". After talking to this stylist I knew that this person had not been honest when visiting my shop. I received a letter from Nancy on Nov 5th including a bill for services she had at the other salon. After receiving this I emailed her to set up an appointment to discuss the things I found out about her hair. When I asked her about why she had my stylist flat iron her hair after her stylist of 7 years told her not to use hot tools, she screamed obscenities at me and stormed out the door. At this time I was not going to give her any money. She did not have any answers for compromising my stylist or my salon. This person has written negative reviews about my stylist and my salon on several sites and I refuse to let her try and bully money out of me or my salon. She came in with damaged hair and lied to try and get a paycheck. I wish this person had never stepped foot into my establishment. There should be a place where businesses can write reviews about consumers so that other businesses know who to stay away from.
