This man took cash (checks) from my elderly mother (70) upfront, he was supposed to do two bathroom floors. (In one the shower and walls) and carpet the living room also. He came in and his crew took over three weeks doing very little and subpar work. He used left over materials from one of his homes. Nothing was done how my Mother wanted. He put a dark floor in her bathroom that was even a totally different color and brand then the tile she selected. He used huge 18 inch tile instead of the small tile she wanted used. 6 inch on walls, 12 on floor. Got 12 on walls that were done and 18 inch on floors. He messed up the hall floor and never finished the walls in the bath. Things were broken and left. She wrote him a check for another 2000 for the carpet and he never bought it or showed up again, he ran off with the money. He ruined the carpet in three bedrooms chopping it off to put tile in the hall and the little work he did needs to be fixed. We can get him on major fraud here and I was wondering if you could help my Mother. He flat out STOLE $2500 from her and the rest of the work is not complete, subpar and not how she asked it to be done. She is going to court but I suggested she contact the AG or ARRP...Anyone who could help. This man totally defrauded her and steam rolled over her.
