On 1/20/05 my daughter purchased a used schoolbook from HALF.COM for $39.99 plus $4.99 shipping. She got confirmation from HALF.COM and then from cheapbooksdealer on 1/24/05. After 10 days, we contacted fraudulent seller, cheapbooksdealer, through HALF.COM and complained about no delivery.
Around Feb 8th, she filed a claim on the website and then noticed many others were filling complaints against cheapbooksdealer. Suddenly, he was removed from HALF.COM. On 2/14, HALF.COM sent an email assuming she got delivery and wanted feedback. We just filed another complaint through online 2/20/05. I doubt we'll get her money back. Something fishy is going on.
