DO NOT WORK FOR THE HAMPTON INN NORTH OF CARMEL!!!
The management there is awful!! The company itself is good but the management there lies to your face. I worked there for a week because it was that bad.

What happened was first they told me that payday is every other Sunday and if I didn't work that day or couldn't come in, I could come pick it up the following day or the next day I worked. When it was time for my paycheck to come in, I came in on the Monday after payday. The assistant manager Erica Micheels then told me that they don't have them. That I can only pick them up on Sunday, the actual payday. She told me at orientation that I could pick it up anytime. Then she goes back on her word!

Second, I was told by the manager, Cindy Harris, when I was hired that I could be reimbursed if I didn't have khaki's. I didn't have them so I bought them then got reimbursed. When I went to turn in my shirt, I was then told that I had to return the khaki's!! I WAS NEVER TOLD THIS UPFRONT!!! I was told this by Erica, again, that I had to give back the khaki's. This is totally ridiculous!!

First, if I had known this I would have never asked to be reimbursed. I understand that they paid for them but seriously what are they going to do with them. Not everyone wears the same size so how do they know that the next person that comes in is going to wear the same size I do?! I understand turning in an uniform but this goes beyond what is right!!

Third, Cindy Harris the manager makes the employees cry. Seriously, she told me that I was inadequate of the job because I was recovering from bronchitis. I had gone to the doctor several times before I was hired. I was currently on prescriptions that were given to me from the doctor. I was doing all that I could. She told me to either get well now or leave! She literally backed me in a corner and told me that.

What right do these employers have to make an employee feel so worthless of working there and their abilities?! Isn't this discrimination??

Again, DO NOT WORK AT THE HAMPTON INN NORTH OF CARMEL, INDIANA WITH THE MANAGERS OF CINDY HARRIS AND ERICA MICHEEL. YOU WILL ONLY REGRET YOUR DECISION!!!

Hampton Inn Carmel is a wonderful place to work!

The management of Hampton Inn Carmel has recently changed. Cindy Harris was recently let go and Erica (whom I did not know) no longer works for our company. The Hampton Inn Carmel has aquired a new General Manager and has drastically changed. I feel it is a wonderful business to work for and I am glad to be employed with them. My coworkers agree as well. You should definetly think about working for Hampton Inn Carmel in the future!
